I received my Moto 360 yesterday but didn't get to use it much until today. I unplugged it at 8:20AM after a full night of charging and at 3:50PM it's at around 67% battery. This is with moderate use such as flipping through the Google Now cards and checking the time frequently. It's not the end of the day yet but I'm quite surprised that it has so much juice left.
Battery aside this thing is fucking awesome. My arms are big so this watch doesn't look too big for me and it's incredibly comfortable to wear. The leather is top notch and really smooth/soft.
The responsiveness of the display is also quite surprising given the fact that it uses a motion sensor instead of facial recognition to turn the display on at the flick of the wrist. Even at a desk where generally you would move only so much to tilt your arm it still will light up.
I don't even have to comment on how gorgeous it looks like in person because the pictures show everything.
As for the software itself it still can do with a little improvement here and there but for the most part it is good. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and it does it well.
One thing you must know before you buy it is that the cards are powered by Google Now so unless you use it the cards it will display will generally be things like weather and fitness information. I tend to use Google Now a lot so it always shows me a lot of relevant information at the right time. Such as when I leave the house to go somewhere it will show me the travel time to get back home from whatever location I'm at. It also will display travel times to my workplace early in the morning around the time I would usually leave so that I can avoid any potential traffic.
So far it's a great device and quite handy but I've only used it for about a day so far. Maybe in a week I will be able to tell if it's truly a great device.
Because people are idiots. It is still one of the best ROMs. It has wide support and extremely active development.
At least on my phone CM sucks because the devs simply port it without caring much about optimization for that specific device, while specialized ROMs usually work much better and are faster.
I'm getting google rewards surveys asking me if I went shopping at a store...two or three days after being there. :tinfoil:
wait until october when they go out of invite, or just ask someone????
did they actually say in October the invite system is gone and anyone can go get one?
A repost of my one in the hardware trading thread, figured it may be a good idea to post it here.
Anyone have a dirt cheap android device with 2.3 or higher? I need a dedicated chromecast remote.

Did you get the update out of the box? It improves battery quite nicely. Also, the battery improves with a couple charging cycles.
i don't think these battery stats on my g3 are what they should be

Yes. It prompted to download an update right off the bat. It's pretty much the end of the day and I still have 42%.
HALP
I have a unlocked htc one m7, I put a updated rom on it 4.4.2 and TWRD gave some errors about failing to mount blah blah and blah but it still completed. The rom booted fine and ran for 6hrs or so untill I got to the point were I wanted Pandora and right when I hit install on the play store it was lagging and now it just is rebooting over and over.
I have tried to reflash the rom but anything USB will not work. Fastboot USB will not work, I cant get ADB to work, and in the rom I cant get Mass Storage to work.
Normaly when I plug my phone to my computer it makes all kinds of plug in - plug out noises now its not even making a single noise....
Soooo On a scale through 1-10 how fucked am I?
IT WILL CHARGE!!!! and.... that's about it.

Nexus 4 is dead.
Need a new phone.
Looking at HTC One M8 or a One Plus. What should I get? Or should I wait?

OnePlus.
One Plus, or wait for a Nexus 6.
I'm a student and I don't really have money, and my phone is starting to (litteraly) fall apart.
Should I wait for the Oneplus One public release ?
Why the OnePlus over the HTC One? I love the look of the HTC full metal body but is the One Plus really a better phone

cheaper, better camera, bigger battery, more ram, slightly faster cpu, and higher internal storage.
Unless you really hate the 5.5" size, i'm not sure why you would choose the m8.
Also One Plus is being sold on Amazon for around 330 euro for the 16gb one. Is that an okay price to pay considering don't need an invite to buy it?
Or does anybody have an invite they would be willing to PM me?
Look up on reddit of OnePlus, or search for posts on Google+ for invites. I hear its rather easy to get one that way.
Shit hopefully I can get one today because my phone is abso fucked
Great, now I wanna send my mom's Nexus 5 back and buy a OPO.
I'm hoping to get one if O2 decide to be bitches and not fix my phone.
I never got an invite :(
I'm hoping to get one if O2 decide to be bitches and not fix my phone.
Yeah, a part of me wishes that NoN can't fix my phone, and give me a refund, if I ever get to actually sending it.
I thought Apple made a watch already?
When you search for "iPod nano watch strap", you get hundreds of possible combinations.
And 99% of them are miles and miles better looking than an iWatch.
I'd almost feel sad for Apple for releasing something so weird as the iWatch, but then again milions will be sold no matter what.
Now I'm lost for words.
I got my phone back to normal, rom runnign fine all my apps installed life is good.
This morning I thought I could make a TWRP backup and fell confident that I would have a backup just in case something happens. I made the backup and restarted the phone and now it keeps going into the rom waiting 30 seconds and restarting over and over.
What do I do now? Download ANOTHER rom and hope for the best? I'm using this rom atm.

I factory reseted the phone via TWRP. Phone back to normal....
This is.... interesting. What is causing this?
How do we feel about the new Moto X? Should I get the pure edition if I'm on AT&T?
Better than a One Plus?

the biggest difference between them is the smaller battery in the moto x (3100mAh vs 2300mAh)
I don't know how much the moto x costs though.
~$400-500 last time I checked. I feel the one plus one is getting a little old now isn't it?

get the oneplus
get the oneplus
Looks like they're using the same CPU. Little more Ram on the one plus. Anything I should know before diving in? I gotta find an invite somewhere. That was one of my main reasons for opting for the Moto. It seems like invites are REALLY hard to come by.
