Texting can cost a lot, especially when texting people in other countries and such. Since whattsapp uses data, very little data, it is a whole lost cheaper to use.
i never understood whatsapp, Whats wrong with old sms and mms texting?
My personal opinion, but MMS in practice is total garbage, at least for smart phone use. File size constraints designed around the capabilities of phones in 2004, so forget video worth anything. You can't really take advantage of your camera, since pictures get compressed to fuck, and hell even screenshots run into file size issues. And the implementation varies from phone to phone and carrier to carrier so its extremely inconsistent. At least with modern internet based services, you know what to expect.
i never understood whatsapp, Whats wrong with old sms and mms texting?
I just got SMS recently, after 1.5+ years without text messaging on my potato. It was so much more convenient since so many people with cell phones have SMS. People that I chat with don't even use WhatsApp. They use SMS or Skype or Facebook chat. No love for Google+/messenger/talk/hangouts.

Seriously fuck everything about this new gradual app rollout thing. I want the new Calendar and Play Music updates
Okay so who here uses whatsapp and how much do you and your contacts use?
I've sent a total of 2882 and received a total of 3722 messages since feb 15 2013 for a total of 15,7MB sent and 6.8MB received. 58 of 199 contacts use whatsapp. Not all of my contacts have phone numbers associated.
If i was him, i would stay with the phone. If he is a good person, he will give it back. If hes gonna stay with it, remember, disable GPS, remove the SIM, and restore to factory config.
And hope the IMEI number isn't reported.
Is it worth getting a Nexus 4 now or should I wait for the supposed refresh towards the end of the year? How radical are the expected differences?
Dammit Samsung, the S4 Active looks better than the actual S4.
Is it worth getting a Nexus 4 now or should I wait for the supposed refresh towards the end of the year? How radical are the expected differences?
The Nexus 4 is a very good phone for the money.
The Nexus 4 is a very good phone for the money.
It's tempting, the only thing keeping me from buying it now is that it's limited to 16GB of memory... I don't mind that it's non-expandable, but 32GB would be nice.

A friend of mine used-to have an Atrix. It gave modem error 3 after suddently restarting. Lost alot of important stuff. The phone is fine, just pray for it to dont reset itself.
