remove SIM from iPhone either: a. insert directly into 1+1 b. go to ATT store and say "new SIM pls"
You cant put in nanosim to microsim slot. Someone tried that, and it got stuck in internals of the phone, he had to open it up and retrieve it... So dont do that.
So is the OneplusOne the be-all end-all of Android Phones right now?
For its price and quality at this price, probably yes.
Yeah I think my phones is a nanosim and One's take microsims so i'd have to go get a new one from them. Do you guys think a OnePlus One would be a nice upgrade from an iPhone 5 or should I just wait until my upgrade date some time next year and get another phone? Idk if cyanogenmod as my first android experience is wise but i'm sure I can handle it. I'm kind of interested to see the successor to HTC's One M8.
If you are media man and watch alot and browse web, 5,5 inch screen will really help you. Its also a good phone to start with Android, because it is almost pure stock, with added customization. And it is rather cheap.
Today's college school day Nexus 5 battery usage stat. [t]https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-xSXTVGpOLnk/VBisUDSBtOI/AAAAAAAAzUM/1gmtCCcilhA/w325-h577-no/2014-09-16.jpg[/t] I more or less come home to that low battery every school day now.
how does it gain power towards the end? its not charging?
They used to be really good in the past, especially when the S1 came out but after that they really started to flake on quality for the S3 and S4. For example, my S4 has a hairline crack across the screen, the back panel has a crack along the bottom and the paint is chipping off all over. My S1 however is still pretty mint with no visible damage even though it is much older.
Yup, I had three friends that all had S2s last year, and I know of several other people who did too.
I'm bored of my homescreen, but I cannot be bothered to take the time to change it. Are there any other launchers similar to Themer and Aviate?
While not so much theming, I've been happy with Klinker's Blur launcher, Mainly because instead of Google Now, I get TalonTwitter and SMS on the side, Okay google still works too (somehow :tinfoil:)
My 1+1 is with Parcel Motel at the moment so hopefully be delivered tonight. So excited to finally have a phone that works again. Also having a phone that can last nearly 2 days is going to be a god send
this came much sooner than expected i am very impressed so far [editline]17th September 2014[/editline] the hardware capacitive buttons are very dim but i don't mind
how does it gain power towards the end? its not charging?
I have no idea. Some people say I'm a wizard.
What flavour is that Fanta?
Raspberry and passionfruit
remove SIM from iPhone either: a. insert directly into 1+1 b. go to ATT store and say "new SIM pls"
some carriers will give you a free sim card if you need one to switch types.
Raspberry and passionfruit
the best kind
Because Samsung loves to put their own, shitty UI over the android UI. That, and their phones aren't that good quality, especially not for the price, and they're quite slow with the updates. Nexus phones are the first, usually quickly followed by LG and motorola (not a lot of skinning for them to do, since they run almost the stock Android UI)
More like in terms of updates: Google HTC Motorola LG Sony All the cheapo Chinese phones Samsung (after nearly a year)
More like in terms of updates: Google HTC Motorola LG Sony All the cheapo Chinese phones Samsung (after nearly a year)
How is HTC's skin they put on Android? They look like a good manufacturer especially the looks of their phones, and an SD card slot sounds really nice. Also .Lain we are mousepad brothers cool.
Sense is probably my favourite Android UI. Stock Android is almost as bad as Touchwiz.
have you used stock? or touchwiz?
have you used stock? or touchwiz?
Yes, had an S3 running Touchwiz then CM then PA then Omnirom before getting my One M8. Stock was a better experience, but it's UI wasn't exactly appealing.
Downloaded the newer OPO camera app with clear image mode (i'm still using the 25R OTA for battery life), dat noise reduction. [t]http://i.imgur.com/ukzm7oz.jpg[/t]
Sense is probably my favourite Android UI. Stock Android is almost as bad as Touchwiz.
Sense is the worst imo. Even worse than touchwiz and some of the old motorola whatever they called it.
Sense is the worst imo. Even worse than touchwiz and some of the old motorola whatever they called it.
Sense 5 and 6 are quite decent. Older sense versions are absolute shite.
Sense 5 and 6 are quite decent. Older sense versions are absolute shite.
Agreed. The newer of version of Sense is very passive in its presentation. If anything, Sense 6 has a lot of "material design" -isms and is fairly close to stock. It really does look nice.
Well for better or worse I bit the bullet and bought a OnePlus One. No idea when I will get it. If I recieve invites to share before they remove the invite system I will gladly give it to you guys. [editline]fishtaco[/editline] Apparently they come from Los Angeles so only a couple days. I thought it was gonna ship from China or something haha

it wasn't expensive for me (£9 for practically next weekday shipping)
it wasn't expensive for me (£9 for practically next weekday shipping)
That's how much I paid, $14.69. Felt like a lot though because i'm so spoiled by amazon prime. Do I have to have the phone with me when I go to AT&T to get a new sized sim card?
Anyone know a good alarm clock app that randomly picks a song every day?
It costs $27.99 to ship it into Canada.
My 1+1 was ordered Monday night and it is in the parcel motel now should arrive tonight or tomorrow, would of been today if I didn't use parcel motel. Pretty fast for standard shipping prett much 3 days from paying
I was looking to buy a Nexus 7, but they're out of stock on Google Play?
I was looking to buy a Nexus 7, but they're out of stock on Google Play?
there is other places to get it but the Nexus 8 is probably going to be announced later this Fall.
