Darn. Looks like Verizon and Sony haven't always had a great relationship.
I am not getting Z3 for one main reason: There was a design flaw with Z (Original) where back plate would glue off after time since phone had some heat-up issues. That made phone non-water resistant, so I have kind of same fear that same thing will happen if I get Z3, I mean afterall it's still backplate glued to phone. I liked the Sony Android themes etc.. felt really nice and there was barely any bloat-ware. I am fan of dark/black themes with bright color (lime, pink, purple) touch, so Sony is great at those themes. Also as mentioned above: Sony is pretty decent with releasing updates
Still can't decide on which phone to get, Previous Considerations: Z3, S5, Note 4. Current Considerations: Moto X, LG G3, Nexus 5, OnePlus One. God damn it, Nexus X rumors keep floating around that it's coming out soon. Rumors that make me wanna wait: Snapdragon 805, 4k Video Camera, Android L, 5.9" Screen, Something like 565 PPI, Also knowing it's Nexus, I assume it's price is not gonna fly up sky-high to over 600 EUR. Makes me really want to wait another month and use my shitty Galaxy Y for now. If I am considering Nexus 5 I think it's really wise idea to just wait for Nexus X in that case. Good thing for Apple users; Just get newest iPhone and you're sorted, not be stuck in hard shit like me.
Yeah, I can't decide between the Z3 and Moto X.
Speaking of the Moto X, should I get my S4 repaired or pick up one of those?
hmmm [img_thumb]http://a.disquscdn.com/uploads/mediaembed/images/1323/37/original.jpg[/img_thumb]
XDA changed its theme. Poor use of space and dropped information density so now you pretty much need to have your browser fullscreen to read shit.
XDA changed its theme. Is it really worth it?
Hmm. That sounds good from Sony. Know of any phones of theirs that have kitkat, a quad core, and go for near $150 used?
If you're still looking for one, and not afraid of the above mentioned problem, which I've never heard of (Close to all my closest friends got a phone from the Z family), you can most likely pick up a Xperia Z for that price (used).
Would anyone know where I'd begin to look for a way of getting a USB to serial driver in Android? Specifically on a Galaxy Nexus. I need to send commands to an Arduino using the terminal (Well, actually through tasker's Run Shell command) and a ttyUSB device isn't showing up in /dev.

I'd love the Z Ultra.
XDA changed its theme. That's.. strange.
XDA changed its theme. Poor use of space and dropped information density so now you pretty much need to have your browser fullscreen to read shit.
I like it because it shows up better on mobile screens with ridiculous dpi and I always fullscreen browsers anyway
I got an htc one m8 and I love it but it's a little too big for my tiny little girl hands [editline]27th September 2014[/editline] like if I one-hand it I can't reach the farthest corner
Posted in Automotive Addicts, though I think you guys might get a kick out of this too: Tasker is pretty powerful.
I really should start saving for a remote starter/locks, especially since my locks are busted from someone trying to break in in the first place. [editline]27th September 2014[/editline] Starting my car with a phone would just be more than I could handle, I'd probably wear out my starter motor showing people. :v:
After waiting 5 months, I finally got my nexus back from repair. I open it up, turn it on, and it deciders to not acknowledge the fact that any WiFi exits unless you are within 5cm of the router. Fun.

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask, but I recently upgraded from a rumor lg to a Galaxy s5 so I'm real new to everything on the newer phones. Are there any basic apps that anyone would recommend?
My 1+1 should arrive tomorrow.
My 1+1 should arrive tomorrow.
Same. Hope it doesn't come with that yellow banding issue. The tracking page on DHL is pretty inaccurate though, apparently they shipped my package from the East Midlands to Edinburgh within 20 minutes.

They never update tracking and end up sending it back and forth the country 5 times before ended up at your neighbors house.

They're slow fuckers, It's been out for delivery for hours now and I'm still waiting.
Anyone know how to turn off media server sharing? I'm on a public wifi connection and it's pretty annoying having "[name]-pc disconnected" pop up every ten seconds.
Well, I found the perfect thing to turn my G3 into a pocket brick. 9000 mAh Battery for it. http://www.amazon.com/Warranty-ZeroLemon-Extended-Protection-Protector/dp/B00NVR93IY/ref=sr_1_1?tag=androidpolice-20&ie=UTF8&qid=1411938311&sr=8-1&keywords=zerolemon+lg+g3
Been playing around with my new 1+1 for an hour now. It's amazing!
