Holo Torch https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fima.holotorch You don't need anything else.
Pssssh Holo is so 2012. Where's my material flashlight app.
There is a flash light app in PA and it works.
I'm [surprised] more phones and ROMs don't (or at least didn't) have one built in. Seems like such a basic app when the hardware is already there.
Has anyone tried this http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly/2014/01/09/google-experience-launcher-an-easy-hack-to-get-the-look-of-the-nexus-5-on-any-android-phone-or-tablet/ supposedly a non hacky way to get a nearly stock android experience on any device?
I gotta be honest, the Android L notifications look really shit with the white on black card design. Does not fit in at all and looks really WIP. JB and L comparison:

I don't think it looks like shit on everything but on some places, like what you mentioned kinda looks bad.
Torch Application Posts
People use applications? I just open camera, video mode, enable flash The light is part of the camera interface anyway
That's what I used to do, until Roms started shipping with built in flash lights
This is where gravitybox becomes extremely useful with the inbuilt torch tile: [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/QMS7gj.png[/t]
Unfortunatly, while running android L preview, you don't really have that option
This is where gravitybox becomes extremely useful with the inbuilt torch tile: [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/QMS7gj.png[/t]
I always have it in my swipe up whatever it's called menu, next to Google Now I just drag up from the bottom left corner and it turns the flashlight on
So my Galaxy S2 is slowly dying (no vibration, the speaker does barely work (both of them)) and I'm looking for a new phone, any suggestions?
So my Galaxy S2 is slowly dying (no vibration, the speaker does barely work (both of them)) and I'm looking for a new phone, any suggestions?
Moto G, Nexus 5, Oneplus One, HTC One M8, Xperia Z3.

I've been using the same wallpaper for about 2 years and the same homescreen layout/widgets for about 3 years. I'd be happy to stay on an interface that looks exactly like Jellybean for ages since I don't feel like there is anything fundamentally wrong with it however I do want all the improvements Android L will be bringing to the table. Shit I just realised I've had the same wallpaper on my desktop computer for 4 years also. good way to blind yourself

I will probably get one invite for share in a day (they gave away some today), so I think I can give you one, if you want to buy the phone soonish (like, in next day, two). And if you can.

http://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/review-xiaomis-10400mah-mi-power-bank-review-and-teardown-s14-crazy another nice review of the Xiaomi 10400mAh power bank with a teardown too.
So instead of repairing my phone for $150 I may sell it with cracked glass. It seems to be going for ~$150, so I can use $300 for a new phone.
Holy shit I wish I knew about the ChromePie xposed mod earlier. It's the one thing I was missing in chrome.
Oh right, my One M8 got 4.4.3 pushed to it last night. Better late than never.
How come my PA beta 4.6 still doesn't have PA settings?
Because it hasn't be added yet?
