I never turn mobile data off and I'm usually using it, except when I'm at home, then I'm on WiFi.
Try disabling wifi entirely, MMS can be sent and received via a separate APN depending on your carrier but these days they have all of them in one so the specific IP addresses that handle MMS are omitted from your cellular data usage.
I have and it didn't help. The issue comes and goes, seemingly at random.
I've been using Textra and I only have one complaint, the emoji stuff. I prefer Android's style, not iOS. [editline]6th October 2014[/editline] I also have issues sending pictures, but that might be AT&T. Happens more when I'm on WiFi.
It's using Android style for me, I haven't installed the plugin tho On WiFi when I'm receiving MMS, if you have mobile data on while you got WiFi on that usually works Make sure you've got the right configuration for MMS's on your network
It was the emoji plug in, yeah. Forgot I had that. I can receive MMS just fine, and can send for the most part. It just seems to mess up on WiFi. I've enabled the WiFi option in textra though, that may help. Disables WiFi when sending/receiving MMS.
Sweet. The touch I input on my mphbem mid k digitizer took a shit I think
New 1+1 OTA is out, RAW camera support and all that jazz. So i have rooted 25r, if I update I just lose root right. but to re-root it would wipe the phone? Still have an invite btw if anyone needs one.
I thought that unlocking the boatloader wiped your phone not rooting?
You're right. Rooting is just copying the su executable to /system and installing an APK to manage su rights. It's amazing how many people don't know the difference though.
my bootloader isn't unlocked though, so I would have to wipe to get root back.
flashed 38r it's cool. less ugly lock screen also it wont root your phone or wipe anything. you just need to reinstall the SU/root application you did in the first place (TWRP will ask you to do this automatically)

Why not just link up your credit/bank card to it and not worry about shit
Sweet. The touch I input on my mphbem mid k digitizer took a shit I think
Yep my phone is dead. I cant get it to charge either. :(
brushed the dust off my wireless charger and started to use it. Well it's working still.
I need some help here - I have a Nexus 5 which I'm trying to watch Netflix on. Trouble is, it was bought in a country Netflix isn't available in. I'm in the UK now, and I can watch it fine on my PC, but my phone just refuses to download the app, citing "This app is not available in your country". I contacted Netflix customer support, and as nice as they were, they couldn't help me. They said that I had to get my phone replaced with one that was made for the UK market. I found a temporary solution in an APK I got from XDA forums, but it is really outdated and only works when it wants to. Is there any other way for me to get the Netflix app on my phone?
Is there any benefit to rooting your phone if you don't intend on flashing new ROM's, that's all I did on the previous phone I used.
Xposed Module [editline]8th October 2014[/editline] And that other thing that puts all the UNIX commands onto it Has come in handy in many occasions
I rooted my Xperia Z so apps could use my sd card again, I'll probably unlock the bootloader when L comes as a custom rom
I still can't get my fucking LG tablet to use the SD card even with rooting Apps say that the device uses a shared data method which is bullshit because if that was the case I wouldn't worry about it

https://support.google.com/wallet/answer/2907588?hl=en [editline]8th October 2014[/editline] Or you can root your phone, and then use an app to change your google play region.
[t]http://imgkk.com/i/gk_j.png[/t] ??????
maybe you need to pay tax that isn't shown on that screen?
He's got $2.06, the app is $1.99 Also gaybow because I accidentally rated while replying
He means that they require a dollar remaining after the purchase, so for a $1.99 app he'd need $2.99, not $2.06. I have no idea whether that's actually true, but I think it's what he meant. I have no idea why you'd have to keep a float of $1.
My Google wallet or whatever has $0.06, so I doubt that.
make a purchase with UK credit card should update your play store country
I don't have one.
Anyone have any recommendations for a podcast app? The free version Podcast Addict seems pretty decent and I've seen Pocket Casts get a few good mentions so wondering if it's any better.
