BeyondPod and Pocket Casts are the main ones. Pocket Casts does have a web app that's in beta so that could be a plus but that's costs extra.
I like Pocket Casts a lot more, the syncing works perfectly for me between devices (Android and iOS) and the web app is awesome (even though it costs $9). The devs just seem like they want to make the perfect podcast app and update it a lot.
Pocket Casts is great. It even supports Bluetooth AVRCP, so I get the podcast title and controls when I have my phone paired with my car.
tried out the RAW option on my OPO, so much better than normal images. dynamic range is much higher.
now I just have to figure out how to process the images to get rid of the flat look, restore sharpness and all that jazz.
So Tasker is the best money I've ever spent on an Android app.
I need to send a text message to a friend of mine. The problem is, I can't send it now since she's in class and I don't know if her phone's on silent or not. And I'm not going to remember to send it once she gets out.
So I tell Tasker to send it and notify me so I remember to delete the profile afterward.
Nexus 5 vs. OnePlus One

The OnePlus One feels fucking huge to me :v:
And I like the white Nexus 5 back feel better than the Sandstone back feel on the OnePlus One.
On a plus side for the OnePlus One, the camera, battery and general speed of the device itself is much better.
Is there any way to disable the particle "swipe" lockscreen on an xperia z3?
I don't have one.
that's how you update your country, sucks for you i guess
also re: podcasts, pocket casts is literally the best ever

My friend in class got a 1+1 a couple weeks ago
only saw it yesterday
I don't have small hands, but holy hell they feel so small on that phone.
I even think 5" phones are a bit pushing it
I had a little bit of trouble handling it and pulling it out of my pockets...
I'll probably get used to it soon enough.
I never actually figured out why my phone isn't being picked up by adb
Tried re-installing the drivers...

try a different USB port, cable
It's not the port or the cable (can adb to my windows tablet)
No improvement on any different port
Used to work before switching my primary OS drive (basically a format)

Also remember to have developer options enabled and USB debugging. Then also accept the permissions on the device when you plug into your computer if it is 4.2+
I'm not stupid.
try clearing the permissions then reconnecting, sometimes the verification won't appear and it assumes you denied it, happened to me once
In the USB connection settings under Storage make sure neither MTP or PTP are checked, that worked for me.
Is the phone on.
Revoked Permissions,
Plugging it back in does not show the permission prompt
Does activate USB Debugging
Make sure Windows is using the correct drivers.
The MTP and ADB interfaces have gotten mixed up by Windows on my machines before.

And causes symptoms similar to what your describing.
New leak of Motorola turbo
Forget whatever HTC just announced for a second, the DROID TURBO user manual appears to have just been leaked by MotoFirmware. We are still digging through its contents now, so if you don’t want to wait for us to update this post, feel free to jump into it through the link below.
Update: First of all, the design matches up to what we had seen and heard about from sources. The centered front camera is the identifier here, along with those capacitive navigation buttons. We are also now finding specs listed, included an 5.2-inch “ultra high-definition display,” “high-capacity long lasting battery,” 21MP rear camera, Qi wireless charging, and support for Motorola’s Turbo Charger. Actually, the Turbo Charger is included with the device. I would be lying if I didn’t mention that the display size was a bit of shocker. Most of us thought that we would get a 5.5-inch QHD display, even though some benchmarks hinted at 5.2.

And in case you don't know what the base functionality of the operating system is

And not even Android L icons (even though what we have is not final)
Phone is outdated before it comes out
For US people interested in the Xperia Z3 and on Verizon Wireless, you can get it for $200 on contract.
Recently bought myself an Xperia Z3 after owning iPhones for the last couple of years, couldn't be happier with it. It's amazing. However, I wanted to root the phone so I could use apps like AirAudio to stream music via Apple Airplay. But when you root the Z3, the low-light functions on the camera break. Is there any way I can get around/fix this?

If someone figures out how to root it without unlocking the boatloader then sure. I don't think that's possible yet.
Well, my phone crapped out on me so im gonna take it in and see if i can trade it in for something else. Im thinking an m8....or perhaps the m8 max phablet. Ill make that decision when i hold the max in my hand probably.
The M8 is already taller than a G2 so if you're looking at the larger edition, be prepared. It'll be huge.
My brother has an m8, I like how big the phone is actually. I was gonna go with the hardon kardon edition, but I'm not sure about it. I guess there's a lot of bloat on it.

If it makes you feel better, the Harmon Kardon and standard M8 are virtually identical hardware wise. Just a different look, comes with Harmon Kardon earbuds, and uses the Harmon Kardon sound enhancements rather than HTC's BoomSound. The sound enhancements are purely software so you can flash between them as you please.
Yeah that's literally the only reason I'm considering the HK version, because it looks different.
