I have a collection of wallpapers on my LG G3. I want something that can switch between them, similar to how Windows can randomly switch wallpapers every X minutes.
Preferably something compatible with Nova so the background can move as I swipe between pages of the homescreen (I'm not sure if that's a native ability of Android in the first place but I assume Nova does that.) Anyone got something that fits the bill?

muzei, set it to use your photos (swiping between homescreens isn't something that exists i don't think)
Yeah that's literally the only reason I'm considering the HK version, because it looks different.

How friendly is htc towards modding?
You can use their dev program to unlock the bootloader if you have the international version. Carrier versions are a little more locked down but an exploit was found so its pretty easy to achieve root.
I never actually figured out why my phone isn't being picked up by adb
Tried re-installing the drivers...

how are you installing the drivers?
maybe it is just me but the 1+1 has worse anti-finger print coating than Nexus 5
My 1+1 gets pretty smudgy from finger prints sometimes. Still loving the phone, and i'm sure theres a lot of features I haven't even tapped into yet.
Does anyone have any recommendations for some game apps? Also how are emulator apps?
I really like the double tap the screen to turn it on and double tap the notifications bar to turn screen off. I rarely use the power button since finding out that feature.
I had to switch that off, it kept activating in my pocket even after the proximity sensor update.
Okay guys same question again what to get:
Just got my student grants, so I can afford new phone (Currently using Galaxy Y).
So anyway:
Not sure if I should wait for Nexus X (if it even exists) or get phone.
Features required:
*Big screen. (5.5+)
*Latest possible Android OS (Android L if possible)
*Super fast (No bloat ware and shit like that)
*Decent design.
*Good camera.
*Wireless charging.
*Decent-ish battery life.
Help?

If you can live without wireless charging, OnePlus One is a good choice.

OnePlus fits your specifications a lot better really,
I'd suggest you stick to that

There we go
Can you also suggest an android tablet?
wait until the 16th, new nexus tablet will be announced
my ZeroLemon G3 case arrived and I'm sort of disappointed. on one end, 4 times more battery, but on the other, my phone is no longer a phone but a bloody tank. it doesn't feel as nice to hold, it's very heavy and feels much bigger in my hand in general. I used to be able to use one hand on this thing, but that just got a whole lot harder
Btw I keep hearing these things about OnePlus One about yellow screen or something? whats up with that?
Early on there were reports about OnePlus One's having a yellow tint near the bottom of the screen. I haven't seen any examples of this recently but everyone still brings it up like its common with those phones.

That kind of puts me off a bit.
it isn't a thing. it hasn't been for months
I haven't seen any yellow tint issues on mine. Although for some reason I notice there is a blue tint on the entire screen. Maybe it's just me and I think I can adjust it to make it look less blue.
Funny enough my nexus 5 has a yellow tint on the entire screen and it's been there for ages. Rma time.
that's called whitebalance
So OnePlus one yellow thing isn't a hardware issue?
Also just got Nexus 7 from PC World. Couldn't wait any longer to get anything better than Galaxy Y phone :v:
Now I will take my time to decide on phone. If OnePlus One isn't hardware issue (yellow tint) I might buy one.
Any chance anyone got an invite?

they changed the colour balance of the screen from warm to cool with the 30O OTA
Here have some 1+1 battery stats from yesterday, all day battery life.

Looking pretty damn good. Had the screen on auto-brightness. Yes it just blows the Nexus 5 out of the water :v: I'd be getting 2-3 hours of SOT.

Yes, mrs. "I will get invite after next Nexus is out", I will get invite probably late tommorow or day after that. If you want it, I will give it to you. But be ready to actually buy it, because there is a day to use it.
edit. I also got rather early unit of 1+1 and there is no visible yellow screen.

How long does it usually take to manufacture it and get after I buy it?
I had to switch that off, it kept activating in my pocket even after the proximity sensor update.
I found that it's more likely because of the actual power button rather than the double tap, especially after the proximity update.
Also, I'm so used to the doubletap that i'm already trying to habitually unlock any phone with a tap. So good. Battery so good.
So how many people here also have OPO's now?
all the cool people
Checked OnePlus forums for invite.
Not a chance, it's like a rich man would be giving out gold bars on street, impossible to catch one.
