Shite, missed invite :(
Just go to xda forums. People are handing them out like candy. I got mine in half an hour.
/Be me,
Look for invite for 4 days,
Get invite,
They don't ship it to Ireland.
FML.
Any alternative choice to new phone guys?

Don't get rid of invite, you can use post forwarder. I used one because they dont ship to Poland too. Easy, but then it takes slightly longer to ship, and small fee to deliver etc. I used Mailboxde.com.

Just setup account with them, bit confused:
I got address from them:
Mailboxde.com e.K.
MyName, Surname, ID 265xx
Äussere Weberstr. 57
02763 Zittau
Germany
Is that what I specify on OnePlus as shipping address?
So they ship it to GER then in germany Mailboxde will redirect to my address in IE?
[QUOTE=Dave_Parker;46209678]I'd use Skypax, it's UK based[/QUOTE]
Mailboxde seems cheaper?
[editline]11th October 2014[/editline]
Why the hell does OPO purchase page says:
"AVAILABLE STARTING FROM Q2"
So I have to wait what? till may to get phone?
[editline]11th October 2014[/editline]
Uhh, why is the only countries available for shipping is Canada and US?
What the hell?
[editline]11th October 2014[/editline]
Ffs having so much problems ordering phone.
How come I am overpaying for OPO if I am ordering it to UK?
USD seems to be cheapest. Is there any of those mail redirection services available in US?
[editline]11th October 2014[/editline]
Thats it, my hour long purchase story has completed.
Ordered 64 gb OPO.
Ended up using forward2me since that's cheapest I've seen, only 2 GBP for signup (lifetime).
Any estimates of delivery? How long did you guys wait for yours? (guys in UK)
Oh I also paid for faster delivery (9.99 GBP).
Wait, do i have to pay taxes, customs fees, etc for my oneplus one?
[editline]11th October 2014[/editline]
Fuck, i'm going to have to pay 46 bucks.

Wait what? Does everyone have to pay that?
Depends on your country's rules and regulations. I'm going to have to pay 12% tax (but no import fees).

Hmm, I can only assume taxes are included in the final price you pay on OnePlus.
I mean here are prices based on country you order in:
US: 349 USD = 349 USD
UK: 269 GBP = 432 USD
GB: 299 EUR = 377 USD
So my only assumption is that in UK the taxes are calculated already.
If you are importing into Canada, expect to pay almost $53 iirc. This includes stupid ass fees that could have been avoided if OnePlus handled customs.
Well fuck.
on a positive note, like everyone else said, 1+1 is cool

I needed a new coffee pot since my old roomate who doesnt drink coffee wouldn't trade anything for her coffee pot. Bam, found a $120 coffee pot at the goodwill for $20. It makes delicious coffee. Suck it.

Question. If I get an 1 + 1 invite does it have to be used within a certain time period or could I get one and buy it in a week or 2?
you have to use it within the day and if you don't the invite goes back to the original inviter
There is also a time limit for the original inviter to use said invite. When that time is up, that invite randomly goes to someone else.
It makes me think: How did OnePlus One started, I mean eventually there must have been 1 or two people using it then inviting others? :v:
Probably went to people who won #NeverSettle

Smash your phone

Some of the first people given invites were just active forum posters before the phone came out.
