time to RMA it
This is my second RMA, and it has stuck pixels.
Seriously if anyone is even thinking about buying one of these; don't.
Motorola is making the Nexus 6, right? I'd get the OnePlus One over it in a heartbeat, at least they only have minor touch screen problems and aren't dropping huge batches of units with bad LCDs.

Good for you? I'm still 3 for 3 on bad units. Congratulations on being lucky?

There used to be touchscreen issues but most of those issues were fixed with the recent 38R update.
And some units had yellow tint issues at the bottom of the display.
Good for you?
the point is that saying "no one should buy moto 360" is dumb because ancedotes are fun
it's the first mass market round lcd device, yes there's going to be bad units, and i'm going to bet that the percentage of bad units is well within reason

Yeah, I got one myself.
Never had either issue, but Franco solved it before the OTA and the yellowing is fixed by a UV light.
I'm just saying, I'll take both issues over dead pixels. Especially when not even two RMAs can get me a working Moto. I'm 90% sure if you RMA a One Plus, you'll get back a working unit so long as you can wait.
but you're basically saying Moto's nexus 6, and the moto X, and whatever else is shitty?
all because you are one unlucky person.
as stated before its a circular LCD in mass market
but you're basically ripping a device that hasn't even been announced yet..

If Motorola's quality control & customer support / RMA process combined can't weed out units with stuck pixels, I wouldn't trust them to operate my toaster, let alone deliver a flagship smartphone.
My second 360's glass was actually loose from the body, and besides just a slight rattle it would let me put some pretty good pressure on the LCD from simple taps.
so bash a unit that hasn't been announced, and isn't even in the same league of display
because that makes sense.
you've had a lapse in support, moto should compensate you.
highly doubtful, but i'd feel really unlucky
Hey guys, I recently got a free Venue 7 from a deal on buying my younger brother a desktop, and it's pretty nice. It came with a one year warranty, but I was wondering what everyone thinks about voiding the warranty so I could root it. I rooted my Galaxy Note 2 after the warranty for it was up, and I do love having root capabilities (granted my Note 2 still has a locked bootloader and is Safe-Rooted), I'm on the fence on whether I want to void the one-year warranty or not. What are everyone's opinions?
Anyone of you is using a homescreen without dock? I recently discovered that Nova Launcher can remove the padding on widgets (I am kinda late on that, am I) and now I really want some widgests in "fullscreen mode" without the dock.
So if anyone is using a homscreen without dock, how do you arrange your homescreens? So far I've always used a dock and have no idea how to make it pratical without one.
My 1+1 arrived! Just backing up some app data from my old phone and trying to figure out how to transfer it, then I'll figure out how to put my tempered glass screen protector on it. Hype!

mine's set up like this
I see, had a similar idea. Just going to bind the Appdrawer to the Home button when you are at your main homescreen slide.
So apparently Google is running out of stock for RMA Nexus 5 devices..
They've been out of stock for months, my RMA replacement was a refurb
let me hold it for a sec
Noe.
That's 4.6 inches, though. 4.3 already encroaches on difficult to use with one hand for me.
You can go for the older 4.3" Xperia Z1 Compact
It's pretty cheap now as well imo

Well that puts to bed the rumour they would be keeping the 5 line as well for people who don't want a Phablet.
Just caused panic across IE and UK DHL offices.
I am a very paranoid person, saw on DHL website saying: "Awaiting collection by recipient as requested", got paranoid that I have to go to belfast and pick it up myself.
Called IE DHL they redirected me to DHL UK, call them - can't understand accent fully, well shit.
Was told they can redirect it to my tomorrow, I said okay do that. They say it's already been collected by someone.
Turns out it's the service I am using called parcel motel, they collected the package and it's on a way to Dublin now.
P.S - I should start smoking pot :v:

I got mine like this. Very clean and draver is really handy and only swipe away. I also generate wallpapers every hour, thanks to Tapet, great app.
