I got a lead on reviving my phone, but the posters primary language is, shockingly, not english. I've followed all the steps up to actually flashing the files to my phone, but the program he uses seems to have been updated or something recently because i can't get to the menu to select the files I need. Its completely different from his tutorial. :(
what's the best-looking music player for android
google play music
Turn off V gesture for flashlight, it's annoying as fuck, I have phone for 48 hours and I enabled flashlight my accident few times already.
I was wondering why the hell the flashlight was randomly turning on. Then I later find out its a feature that no one told me about.
Success! [t]http://puu.sh/cgryT/be811f92a7.png[/t]
I was wondering why the hell the flashlight was randomly turning on. The new L preview is the best thing ever. I could not believe how smooth the lockscreen was functioning as I was restoring all my apps through the play store.
I forgot how ugly the stock g2 rom was.
fyi: if you use android wear a lot, i'd suggest not running lolipervert, i mean lollipop preview the headsup notifications fuck with answering calls from watch, and hangouts thread history doesn't work i'm rolling back to kitkat for now
I forgot how ugly the stock g2 rom was.
Thankfully you can at least change the notification center. [t]http://i.imgur.com/zYXzpSS.png[/t]
The new nexus stuff and their accessories are on the play store now
what's the best-looking music player for android
You mean best sounding music player? I'd recommend Poweramp or Neutron Player for audio quality which is what you'd want from a music player
when will lollipop come out on nexus 4 and also feels good
Yeah, my opinion rewards has been going crazy lately.
I dont know how you all activate that flashlight in the pocket, it never does for me. Marques review is old, because there was OTA that uses proximity sensor to turn off and on on-screen gestures in pocket.
I've got a 1+1 invite that I won't be able to use, if anyone wants it, pm me. You'll have to use it in the next few hours.
do you realize how dumb what you just said is without applying eq or anything they all use the same api on the same hardware so they all sound the same, changing your music player won't magically make your phone have better audio quality i meant what i posted, was looking for a player with a good ui
They use their own independent audio processing engines. http://neutronmp.com/technology.html Don't start barking and rating dumb when there are clear differences between how audio players work and I'm only just trying to give you advice.
I hope I can get an invite when I get money which will be the 29th. I really want the 1+1
even if it did sound better i don't understand why you'd ever use it listening to music on your phone is something you do in public where there's a lot of background noise (except for maybe being on a plane or something) so those audiophile features aren't going to much more than drain your battery faster, and if you're not in public a nice usb dac or a decent stereo setup will blow your phone's audio out of the water regardless of any alternate audio engine and even if the audio did sound amazing with background noise it wouldn't be worth sacrificing battery life
From my experience, the audio improvements are definitely noticeable on non-shit earphones (background noise doesn't exist in this realm with isolation/noise cancelling etc) however if you're one of those people who use the old Apple earphones and can't tell the difference between a symbol and a hi-hat then I understand your point of view and there wouldn't be much point using something like Poweramp or Neutron Player unless you like it's aesthetics/file management. Google Play Music might be a good choice due to its fantastic streaming options along with DoubleTwist. Apollo might also be worth considering, it's what CyanogenMod comes with if I recall correctly. Battery drain isn't really an issue unless you have a <1GHz CPU since it isn't very processor intensive OR you are disabling the low level audio tunnelling to use DSP packages like Viper4Android. Turning the screen on to change songs uses more power than playing music itself.
and also [t]http://scontent-a.cdninstagram.com/hphotos-xaf1/t51.2885-15/10731426_1491415984461926_988003483_n.jpg[/t] feels good
How the fuck, mines been silent for months..
Last time i got a survey my phone was freaking out so i couldn't finish it. :\
Also nexus 9 32gb wifi costs "only" 480€ here in Germany. I thought it would be more expensive. I guess I will wait for the official price for the Nexus 6 and compare then again with the OpO.
$22 here, I don't know what to spend any of it on :v:
I just use the money from Google Rewards to buy ad free versions of apps I use.
it's cymbal, not symbol
Yeah my bad. Writing essays all day has racked my brains.
and tbch it literally does not matter. anything past 320mp3 is dumb for on the go usage imo diminishing returns
MP3 shouldn't be used any more, AAC/M4A replaced it and has a better compression ratio which leads to smaller files/higher quality recordings i.e. 256kbs AAC/M4A is roughly the equivalent to 320kbs MP3. On-the-go usage doesn't really make any sense to me though. I have two hour-long train rides daily so that's when I get my music sessions in for the day. I might as well make the music sound good while I'm at it since it isn't hard to do. Depending on the equipment you use, it isn't dumb to use something past 320kbs MP3 e.g. 24bit/96KHz FLAC. It does sound deeper, crisper and richer than 256kbs AAC obviously because it is higher resolution and higher sample rate. However, my earphones aren't good enough to properly draw out the difference and those files are fucking huge. If you have good equipment and heaps of storage space, why wouldn't you?
Seriously, I used to say "eh MP3's fine" until I was fucking about and decided to compare it to OGG Holy fuck why are we still using it, I couldn't hear a difference between MP3 320 and OGG 98
Oneplus one's auto brightness is garbage. Its always too bright, at least for me. In doors, the phone is perfectly usable on the dimmest settings.
