I bought a Nexus 7 (2013) and a case for it that auto-sleeps and wakes when the case is closed/open. Initially I thought it was using the light sensor, but it doesn't. What magic is this?
magnets, how do they work.
Is there anyway to turn off notifications for certain apps at night but leave others on? I have two email accounts, gmail + work, and I'd like to turn off the work account at nights/weekends.
You could make a tasker profile that turns notifications off for certain apps at certain times. I believe the secure settings addon let's you do that. Gravitybox quiet hours let's you turn on quiet hours and make certain apps ignore quiet hours. Both of these require root though.

Why don't people like Samsung?
Why don't people like Samsung?
Bandwagon-ing But real answer would be: -TouchWiz causing lag for high end flag ship devices when similar models are a lot smoother -TouchWiz being ugly throughout the years -Samsung making it a pain in the ass for devs to make custom ROMs -KNOX being an annoying piece of shit -Their marketing with cringe worthy ads And some more stuff: -shit build quality -lot's of fantastic plastic but they are slowly getting themselves to better materials and build quality
don't forget build quality
S3 onwards expect shit to fall apart for no reason
don't forget build quality
Sounds like my Sister's Note 3! I just fixed the charger port for the 3rd fucking time, that little tongue inside it manages to get bent down so you can't plug a cable into it

I got it "fixed" and it just broke again immediately. It only charges with one specific cable, and even with that cable it won't keep a steady data connection. Ironically, the only cable that works with it is the one that came with my Moto G that I bought to replace the S3.
There's an FP app? I thought it got abandoned just like every other attempt
There's an app by geel9 that kinda works but is kind of abandoned (hasn't been updated since February). http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1366446
So I got my new contract with t-mobile. I used 1,5gb in the first 6 days. My old contract was for 1,5gb.. I don't think 5gb is enough data :/
Just released my first Android app on the play store, it's the backup app I showed a couple days ago. Currently it still has the awful app info screen layout but I'm still trying to think of some way to improve it. Any feedback is greatly appreciated, it can be found at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.curlybracket.backup
And here I am just making do with 500 MB...
I'm using half that much, but I can make it 1GB for an extra £2.
Anybody else unable to see most subforums on the go app? [editline]2nd November 2014[/editline] FP app*
I use use my web browser, Google Chrome, to view it
And here I am just making do with 500 MB...
I was on 500 MB forever, then I got a cheaper government plan with 3 GB. The only difference is that I occasionally stream podcasts in the car instead of downloading them at home/school/work.
According to my phone bill, I used 7GB in the last billing period [editline]2nd November 2014[/editline] Also stock Sprint G2 Rom is terrible. I get ads in my notification bar for tv shows.

Still rocking unlimited tho.
I use use my web browser, Google Chrome, to view it
For me, the FP app was waay quicker for quick viewing. Browser FP is clunky as hell on my phone :v:
I had PA for a while but had to go back to stock to get my phone repaired
i stream basically everything 8gb used last month
6GB for $35/month checking in, it was a (few) phone calls away. Still rocking unlimited tho.
Oh yeah, I pay $25 a month for unlimited. And $18 for my phone...and $30 for my plan..
Oh yeah, I pay $25 a month for unlimited. And $18 for my phone...and $30 for my plan..
I technically started off by paying $10 a month for unlimited, then $15, then $35. "Technically"
i think my phone is $30 for 1gb of data on tmobile, not completely sure though.
i pay $10 on t-mobile for 3gb, which i never go over..
