don't know if anyone from here saw, but i made a thread about rooting my htc one x. I can't seem to do it at all, can't even unlock bootloader. I get to the command prompt step and it can't detect my device - can't find a download link for drivers or htcsync anywhere. [editline]3rd November 2014[/editline] update: htcsync is installing.. ere we go
I keep checking my phone in anticipation for lollipop being available. Nothing yet, though.
Apparently it will come next week for the Nexus 5
Apparently it will come next week for the Nexus 5
Any source for that?
i pay $10 on t-mobile for 3gb, which i never go over..
is your phone a secondary line?
Caps are annoying like that. It's not so much for emergency use, it's more of "I don't want to use extra data over my data cap because that would cost me extra on my bill which is something I don't want so I try to watch my data usage". Shit like what's app uses data of course and people leave data on to get the messages and send stuff. You can switch up limited voice minutes per month with data. On some plans, incoming calls count as minute usage. So I'd use my home phone to do most of my calling since that's I unlimited so I avoid going over or getting close to going over the voice minute cap. And yes, people yet charged overage. Welcome to Canada. And other places on the world.
I can blow through that 500mb in roughly a minute at average LTE speeds or 35 seconds roughly at the fastest. :(
After spending ~48 hours uploading my music to google music I learned that it doesn't support ID3v2.4 tags... it dropped the tags on 1/3 of my music. The ID3v2.4 spec has been out for _14 years_ ! How do you not support that?
google play music sucks. it hardly ever gets my album tags right, splits albums for no apparent reason and doesn't display a lot of album art
It loaded the other 2/3 of my music perfectly, but I'm very meticulous about my tagging and album art.
i've got an HTC one m8 running android 4.4.4 and when i try to log into the steam app i get to put in the steam guard code then it just gets stuck on loading forever i can load into the website just fine but the app doesn't let me in
Apparently it will come next week for the Nexus 5
Only OTA update. Images for all eligible devices will be uploaded today, while only Nexus 7 2013 (WiFi only) and Nexus 10 getting OTA first. Meanwhile I'm still checking my N7 2013, no update yet.
accidentally clicked perm root before I had flashed a recovery, phone boots up fine but my pc or all in one kit can't seem to find it and it freezes on hboot trying to detect sd card updates. any help?
I tried to like Shuttle music player because it has material design, but the homescreen widgets are terrible compared to Poweramp's. For some reason, it likes to show some of my albums twice, too. Deleting one of them causes the files disappear from my phone.
album artist if you're not setting album artist, this shit happens
the terrible ui doesnt help. maybe the material refresh will help it not be a terrible music player

Some are quite good, and the player itself is truly fantastic. [editline]4th November 2014[/editline] On that topic, is there any way to make Poweramp stop working in full screen?
Why don't you get a skin for Poweramp? Poweramp looks dated even with them.
Maybe it's just me but I find power amp ui to make sense. The holo design ones just don't feel right for me.
This is when you call it in and bitch and complain and get amazing shit like my 6GB for $35 among other stuff.
Not unlimited, more than $20, "amazing". I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but mobile data ain't one.
this pending authorization shit on the one plus one is getting retarded
google play music sucks. it hardly ever gets my album tags right, splits albums for no apparent reason and doesn't display a lot of album art
Make sure music genre and album artist is the same
Not unlimited, more than $20, "amazing". I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but mobile data ain't one.
well to be fair, I still have unlimited data on LTE and it costed $10 a month
Unlimited LTE data at $80 reporting in Currently using it as my main internet, actually... Our DSL modem got fucked up somehow.
Unlimited LTE data at $80 reporting in Currently using it as my main internet, actually... Our DSL modem got fucked up somehow.
My LTE is (still) faster than my home Internet..
My LTE is (still) faster than my home Internet..
It's faster here too.
Nexus 9 build quality gif. [editline]5th November 2014[/editline] Anyone know how to add new fonts to Sense 6? Going through the menu just takes you to Google Play and it doesn't have the font I want on there.
Are there any good apps to cache Youtube videos (so I can watch them offline)
Nexus 9 build quality gif.
Something tells me this may improve the device's ability to absorb impacts and is probably way better than something that is flush with the chassis
A friend of mine is looking for a new cheap-ish phone. I recommened him a Moto G (I have one myself). He thinks is looks really great especially to the price. We went a bit around a looked some more though and we got to OnePlus One, which he can afford too. I would like to know if anyone have some invites for it and could maybe send it?
