Then you'd be dead if you knew the same kind of girls as I do! :v: One I know dropped her phone in the pavement to crack her screen on purpose because it "looked cool". Same thing with another one. And another one after that.
Do the phone a favor and put it in protective custody
It's pretty bulky, though, huh? More plastic surface area vs screen space. The thinner, near "bezel-less" screens are the ones that are in danger.
[thumb]http://dark69slayer.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/dsc02006.jpg[/thumb] Yeah it's pretty thick and the back is grippy which is good. Every plastic back phone slips out of my hand and almost onto the ground half the time.
I carry my Note in my pocket at work. No case, no screen protector. It's almost perfect.
I'm thinking of upgrading my One X to the One but I'm not sure it's worth it since it's still a great phone.
that hand looks really fucking weird in that photo haha and what the hell do you guys do to your phones? I've had my s2 for almost 2 years, I take it with me everywhere and I've dropped it like twice tiny scratch on the screen and a bit of scuffing on the corners

It's not just the battery, the width of of the device is so great. The regular razr is far too thin.

I tend to be extremely careful with everything electronic so getting an HTC One would only need a pouch for me to keep it safe. [editline]2nd May 2013[/editline]
I'm thinking of upgrading my One X to the One but I'm not sure it's worth it since it's still a great phone.
Depends, are you due for an upgrade or is it just "buy a new phone" kind of upgrade?

Oh, there's no scratches on the screen, just some bumps, scratches and scuffs on the side and rubber back cover.

my HTC Desire Z took anything and everything like a motherfuckin' champ (apart from working as a good phone) I remember in class somebody was doing something amusing and I really wanted to take a picture so I pull it out my pocket and slam it in to the edge of the table as I bring it up, then it flies out my hand and somersaults through the air and lands on the concrete art studio floor, nothing happened to it
Depends, are you due for an upgrade or is it just "buy a new phone" kind of upgrade?
I managed to lock myself out of my account so I don't know yet.
My SGS2 after a year of using has only one noticeable scratch so far. When I was drunk last summer I accidentally dropped it from about 1,5m high; thankfully it's on the bottom right corner and I see it very rarely.
I think I've dropped my phone like 20 times and the screen is still alive
I have never ever dropped my phone ever. I'm super careful with my things, especially things I pay £400 for.
I need rugged stuff, that's why I used an iPod nano 2g for years, I hammered tent pegs in using that, and it still works

So, my friend got that case that I told him to buy: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/NtLn4ri.jpg[/thumb]
So, my friend got that case that I told him to buy: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/NtLn4ri.jpg[/thumb]
Is that a moogle?
What is this black magic? I can't do that with my N4. edit: ARE THOSE SCRATCHES ON THE SIDE
Gravity is weird in Australia :v: There is one scratch on the side from my car key.
O2 has FINALLY released some updated firmware for the Galaxy S2, and it's Jelly Bean 4.1.2 :D It is glorious.
Received my MediaDevil screen protector's today off Amazon, and my god they're amazing. Easiest application I've ever had for a screen protector. Barely feels there, still feels like the glass. Covered a scratch i had completely. £8 for 2, but such good quality. Also an added incentive is that they included two Moam sweets for no reason :v: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00C0EUVVM/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
So, my friend got that case that I told him to buy: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/NtLn4ri.jpg[/thumb]
oh wow, it's better than expected!
All these cracked screens... Quit buying phones with flush screens! If you do, get a bumper case at least. A little 1/8 inch bezel between the glass and the edge of the phone accompanied by a 1/16 or 1/32 inch lift around the glass makes a huge fucking difference.
This is why I don't listen to anybody on Facepunch who talk about build quality. Bragging on about how fancy and sleek their phone is until they drop it and it cracks because it has a flush screen due to shit design. Even the HTC One has pretty bad build quality in the sense that if you drop it, the glued on front panel just falls off. To me, if a phone looks and functions exactly the same after 2-3 years of use, that is good build quality.

It landed glass down on the corner of a curb so the recessed glass didn't save it at all. I haven't really dropped my phones since, I'm insanely careful with them because I don't like to use cases or screen protectors.
So does anybody here actually have the S4? I got mine yesterday, and I definitely noticed the lag people were talking about. However, once I turned off adapt display, the lag disappeared. Can anybody confirm?
Does anyone have a Verizon carrier phone they'd want to trade for a literally 2 week old perfect-condition Sprint Samsung Galaxy SII with a case and screen protector on it?
So, my friend got that case that I told him to buy: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/NtLn4ri.jpg[/thumb]
Amazing. Now kill your friend for defacing a Nexus device :v:
