The only thing this has in common with Touchwiz is the pebble-grayish-blue color and white
http://www.theverge.com/2013/5/30/4381940/what-samsung-couldve-done-with-touchwiz-mockup Holy fuck, this should become a full ROM/theme for Samsung devices. If TouchWiz looked like this I would've kept it on my S2 back when I had it.
The browser icon screams Sense 5. The settings menu looks like MIUI. It's a nice design but not particularly original.
I'm so happy! I got my PadFone 2 back! Feels so nice to actually use this device again. After using the Galaxy S2 for a while I know for sure that I can't go below 4'7 inches, at the very least.
Photos from the One look good until you zoom in
If I had full manual control crop quality would be so much better. I can pull flawless 100% crop quality from my 8X by setting shutter speed high enough that the camera uses 100 ISO or lower. Either way, even though it's not great at long range detail, I actually like the camera a lot.

Is dual core CPU on a phone important? I just noticed the huawei i'm gonna order has dual core. Is it really any good?
Is dual core CPU on a phone important? I just noticed the huawei i'm gonna order has dual core. Is it really any good?
Well Android devices these days have jumped from dual cores to quad cores. I'd say it depends on your needs, it's still like getting a laptop of computer. If you don't do much but text and call on that phone, dual core will be fine. If you want a really fast phone, it will cost more for a quad-core.
Is dual core CPU on a phone important? I just noticed the huawei i'm gonna order has dual core. Is it really any good?
Depends on what kind it is. I know that Samsung's Octo core processor is slower than Qualcomm's quad core, just as Qualcomm's dual core was faster than Nvidia's Quad Core Tegra 3 a year ago.

Samsung's Exynos chips have always traditionally underperformed, had glitches and are a little more power hungry compared to the Qualcomms. At least that's what I divined when I did phone research.
GSM Arena reports: Chipset: Qualcomm MSM8225 Snapdragon CPU: Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A5 wat
It is probably fast enough for average tasks, I am sure.
Gave my mom my Nexus 4 when I got my iPhone 5, she dropped it and shattered the screen, I'm confiscating it from her and fixing it for my own use now. No more fancy things for her!
You using the word confiscate on your mother made me uncomfortable.
You using the word confiscate on your mother made me uncomfortable.
We don't let her out often. If we don't keep a close eye on her at all times, she will personally double the chlamydia rate in the tri-state area.

On a rare occasion we usually let our mother out, but under strict surveillance.
Do you want me to host them on my cheap VPS?
Nah don't bother with it. Thanks though.

Qualcomm were terrible until they started making their newer SoCs
Didn't Qualcomm also have a lot of device makers by the balls since their chips worked best on NA LTE?
Yeah, Exynos SoCs didn't have the right radios for quite sometime even though they could support them.
Yay finally got my nexus4, got the store owner to drop the price $80 too
