I had some free time and themed the hell out of my phone.
The reason I really wanted to do this? The app icons in folders in the default HTC launcher were off center.

what wallpaper and clock widget is that?
Just manually flashed Android L onto my Nexus 5 and it's uh, booting for quite some time now. Should I be worried?
[editline]14 nov 2014[/editline]
Never mind, it worked!
First boot seems to take forever on the stock roms but not the custom roms that I've tried. I guess it just depends.

Zooper's the shit.
Chrome got buggered on my tablet, and the display was garbled to fuck. I had to switch to a better browser so I'm stuck with Opera at the moment.

If you mean the "windowed" chrome, pretty much everyone has it. Had to roll back updates on it.
You guys know of a site where I can download the actual icon files for android apps? My G3 has a function to switch icons but I can't find good icon packs outside of the play store. And I don't really want to run a launcher just to use Moonshine's icons.
(G3's messenger and phone icons are ugly as crap)
The bootloader was updating fine, but it wasn't dealing with userdata properly, apparently a new version of fastboot fixes that
I'm confused, how did you update fastboot or whatever? I aswell am stuck on infinite bootscreen.
I've flashed Lollipop on my Nexus 5 and 7, I didn't have to do anything out of the ordinary. How long did you actually wait? The first boot does take much longer than normal, I think it took almost 10 minutes on my Nexus 7. I believe it's doing the whole "optimizing apps" procedure during the first boot, it's just not showing the popup. I noticed that if you shut down the device and then start it again before that initial boot is finished the optimizing app popup shows up. I wouldn't recommend anyone to do that though, forcing a shut down like that could break shit.

If your phone has a theme engine, you can just download any icon apps from the play store, then go to your theme engine and just update your icons from the app.
I ordered my 1+1 with the invite they gave me. It's pending shipment now, how long roughly will it take from now to being delivered? keeping in mind in the uk they usually ship on saturdays and that I chose express delivery.
It varies a lot. For me it was pending shipment for a day and then the actual shipping from UK to Finland took 2 days, so 3 days total.

Thinking about switching to T-Mobile from sprint. Sometime in the next 3 months probably.
Gravity (the movie with Sandra Bullock) is free on Google Play right now.
Huh. Says its $9.99 for me.
I had this lag with Google Launcher on the dev preview but it looks like it's gone with the actual stable release. Or they updated the Google Launcher app recently.

Apparently it's for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 only
Gravity (the movie with Sandra Bullock) is free on Google Play right now.
i posted that awhile back. looks to be free, again.
also,i'm waiting for custom ROMs to install my lollipop to my nexus 5.

What app is that? I like having different notes in different colors like that.
Gravity (the movie with Sandra Bullock) is free on Google Play right now.
I got an email from Google saying I could download it for free, but my girlfriend didn't get this email. I own a Chromecast, so that's probably the only reason why I got one instead of her.

Google Keep, it just updated to use Material Design.
Guys I'm in a pretty shitty situation, and I need your help!
Don't hate on me for this, but I wanted to keep my iPhone 5 one more year and then switch to the 6s, but sadly it died on me, warranty's over and I don't feel like the actual iPhone 6 is worth upgrading to.
Repairing the iPhone would cost me 250€, so I decided to go back to android once again (had a galaxy s2, loved it for 2 years). What's the best android phone with max 4.8 inches display I can buy?
If the Oneplus One was a little smaller it would have been an instant buy, too bad it's so fucking huge!

Xperia Z3 Compact is pretty much your only option if you want a high end phone at that size.
If you think you CANT get used to it, go for Xperia Z1c/Z3c (but it is kind of expensive, Z1c is cheaper). But I got used to size in a week, and my last phone was Galaxy Corby.

flashing this shit right fucking now

The Z3 Compact looks fantastic to me! Would you recommend it? Is it a good phone? How is it compared to the Samsung Galaxy Alpha??
And what if I was willing to go up to 5.0 inches maximum? Would that change something?
Also I dont like most samsung phones, the alpha being an exception!
