The Z3 Compact looks fantastic to me! Would you recommend it? Is it a good phone? How is it compared to the Samsung Galaxy Alpha?? And what if I was willing to go up to 5.0 inches maximum? Would that change something? Also I dont like most samsung phones, the alpha being an exception!
The Z3c is a great choice. Compared to the Galaxy Alpha, it has better battery life, fully waterproof, Micro SD card slot, minimal bloatware and software skin doesn't look ugly as sin. At 5 inches you have HTC One M8 and Nexus 5 (battery life and camera are very meh though but it's got a good price point however is a year old phone) The rest are 5.2 inches but honestly you don't really notice the difference since bezels are getting smaller so they still take up the same footprint as last generation 5 inch screens. So at 5.2 inches you have LG G2, Moto X (2014) and Xperia Z3.
I got Gravity free for my nexus 9 as well, so ya..
flashing this shit right fucking now
device is stuck in a bootloop ahh fuck

someone help? should i downgrade to 4.4?
device is stuck in a bootloop ahh fuck
How long has it been?
How long has it been?
way over 10 minutes, probably 20 at least tried reinstalling the 5.0 update and wiping the device using the nexus toolkit, probably should jump down to 4.4 and try again
toolkits are bad https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images find occam 5.0 tgz, open it up, find the folder that starts occam-a3-etc, drag somewhere on computer, put contents of this zip inside that folder https://www.dropbox.com/s/89ys51yk50nmqsw/platform-tools.zip?dl=0, open command prompt at that folder, "adb reboot bootloader", click flash-all.bat
My Note 4 just arrived (for those who saw my earlier post asking on what phone I should get, I'm still getting a OnePlus One as soon as I get the chance, I'm just going to use the Note 4 for now until I can cough up the money and an invite for the OnePlus, ontop of that my parents weren't willing to let me go another week or so without a phone considering how much they call me) Any apps/themes/etc. you people would recommend?
With a Note 4 themes for the CM Theme engine are not something you can use. For Icons I really Like Suru for the appdrawer and pure flat white icons for homescreen with 500px backgrounds that are changing like every week. [t]http://i.imgur.com/6GwLTLw.jpg[/t] Sometimes the backgrounds do not fit, but I really like this one so far.
I really can't fucking decide what phone to get! Sony Xperia Z3 Compact or Samsung Galaxy Alpha? It's like I'd choose the z3c if it had the alpha's camera and buttons that dont take up the screen, or the Alpha if it had the sony's battery life.... Haalp
So I want to install ePSXe on my Sony Xperia Z2, but just to be sure, Sony didn't put any sort of DRM/Safe measures against apps like PS1 emulators right? Just checking incase it bricks my phone or limits its power or some shit like that.

Haalp
The camera in Z3c isn't too shabby either plus it has a physical two stage camera button and honestly on screen buttons aren't that big of a deal they go away when watching videos and what not. I think it being waterproof, software modifications are minimal from stock and probably one of the best batteries for that size win out over physical buttons. Also the actual screen on Z3c looks sharper since smaller size compared to the Alpha which uses diamond-pattern PenTile matrix which is noticeably less sharp. Alpha does have a finger print scanner if that's your thing though. I remember playing Pepsi man on my phone while I was at school. Also to whoever is thinking about getting a Xperia Z2/3/3c , buy a magnetic charging cable. You never ever have to open a flap unless you change your SD or sim card and if you're going to flash a different rom.

I would redownload the image
yeah, redownload image, also the sig errors aren't actually errors, blame google
I just bought Automagic... Jesus christ, it's like Tasker made easy. It uses flowcharts which are logical and easy to understand. Plus, it has a simple scripting engine with its own very simple Java-like syntax. It doesn't need root, it works on Lollipop, and it's cheaper than Tasker. A couple of screenshots: [t]http://i.imgur.com/zlQyzR7.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/50WbKQf.png[/t] The community around it isn't really big, but the program itself is so simple that you don't really need someone to help you with it. It's not any less powerful than Tasker either! So has anyone noticed any difference in battery stats on Lollipop on Nexus 5? My battery seems to be the same drainage as on Kitkat.
So has anyone noticed any difference in battery stats on Lollipop on Nexus 5? My battery seems to be the same drainage as on Kitkat.
When I'm using the phone it's pretty much the same, but I feel like the standby life has been drastically increased.
redownloading image, lovely way to waste more of my data allowance [editline]16th November 2014[/editline] think that may of done the trick [editline]16th November 2014[/editline] still booting, brightness did raise itself a little which normally indicates its close but I still see the four circles spiraling inwards and outwards [editline]16th November 2014[/editline] during the flashing stages I still got the same 4 errors but it seemed to be a success [editline]16th November 2014[/editline] never mind, just had to restart it and now its optimising apps Thanks guys! [editline]16th November 2014[/editline] first impressions: Device is fucking fast, performance is solid When updating apps from google play the device no longer slows down to a complete halt, I was able to configure all my settings while the Google play store was updating some shit Love the new notifications in the lockscreen but not liking how most apps haven't updated to use the new notification api, but that should be soon I hope
i wanted to get the 1+1 from a shady russian store like i always do with my phones, but apparently it might not be the cool international version with all the 4g bands fuck
would it be possible to throw my lg v500 onto android L
would it be possible to throw my lg v500 onto android L
if a rom comes out for it
I tried the 'leaked' Android L rom for the HTC One M8. It worked well for a few hours then got unusably slow and was forced to wipe it and flash something else. Ignoring the failure my overall impression is "meh." I didn't notice any speed improvements or any new features that impressed me. Just a fancy new skin.
Is it true that the nexus 6 doesn't support wireless charging? In MKBHD's review he said that he could never get his nexus 6 to work on his Google brand qi charger.
if a rom comes out for it
GPE roms are coming out for it but I don't know if it'd be possible to flash a GPE rom on a device that runs stock LG firmware
Hey dudes, I have a nexus 5 and I am currently downloading the factory image of lollipop with the intention of flashing it, but I want to make sure I can root/flash a custom recovery after I do it so I can go back to my current setup via nandroid backup if I so choose. Does anyone know if this is possible yet?
