it's really fun to play with and get what you want for your notifications, so much easier to mess with music while driving.,
I have been using the Droid Turbo's always listening to change songs with voice commands, it rocks.
My sisters unrooted stock lollipop nexus 5 has been has been stock in a boot loop all day. I can't even boot into recovery mode without it restarting again. The phone will enter into the bootloader just for a second and screen turns blank again and then back again to bootloader. this keeps on repeating and as a result i cant choose any options to enter recovery or reboot or wipe data. Help?

Here's the thread I found. Link On another Note, just ordered a desktop dock and flip cover for the 1+1. Anyone use a flip? Figured I'd try it out.
I am actually tempted to switch to iOS. SwiftKey is on iOS now. I don't play games on my phone anymore. Stability is hilariously better. Standby time is hilariously better. Camera software for processing is still better. All of the apps that I do use are also on iOS and are generally better feature wise and stability wise. Google fucked up the Nexus 6 and 5.0 a bit

Or maybe just revive Symbian as our final hope.

A good whack to the side of the phone where the power button is usually "fixed" it for me,
What do i do now though? She's had this phone for more than a year? Will google fix/rma it? My buddy has a lumia 930 and honestly, it's so much better than iOS and android. [editline]23rd November 2014[/editline] Edit: Nope, n5 started rebooting again. Not gonna work.
I can't even think about going Apple, their launcher with icons and nothing else on home is so frykin ugly for me. Im used to categories, nice and clean modern look on home, not cluster of big useless icons. And, can you change dpi in iOS? I can't look at phone with too big dpi.
i'm a fan for customization, and games, but mostly customization. i'm always changing something up. apple is too locked down for my free spirited will of change. plus the devices are dumb expensive for what they are, literally buying a name.

A fucking slider in iOS to change it to however big or small you want it to be. With dynamic preview. Why doesn't stock Android have this yet? I have no idea.
Google support is fuckin nice. They agreed to RMA the nexus5 even though it was out of warranty. [editline]24th November 2014[/editline] To be fair, i made it sound like it was a lollipop problem and not a broken power button.

Not to mention apple phones use much better materials excusing the 6 plus bending issues that are wildly over reported. I am not a huge fan of ios but apple's hardware design is practically unmatched [editline]24th November 2014[/editline] Best display calibration, battery life, GPU and cpu performance, camera.. the list can go on
Are there any issues that could arise from ordering an M8 from Taiwan via ebay in terms of compatibility with Australian standards?

The DAC on Apple devices have always been very good too.
Anybody here put Lollipop on their 1+? Just wondering if its worth it

Im not talking about font size, Im talking about DPI you change in root file, that is global for entire UI in phone, for every app, etc. Iphone have that in settings for regular users?
Anyone know a fix for
Error: only position independent executables (PIE) are supported
on Lollipop on the Nvidia Shield Tablet. Trying to use Sixaxis controller.
Anyone know a fix for
Error: only position independent executables (PIE) are supported
on Lollipop on the Nvidia Shield Tablet.
Anybody here put Lollipop on their 1+? Just wondering if its worth it
I was wondering the same thing, so I went on and did some research on if there are any ROMs and if they are any good. There are in fact some, 2 even using the latest CM12 code. So far reactions are mixed, Force closes are common in some settings menus. Battery life either got improved or got worse. Several bugs here and there. I would say, if you really wanna try out Lollipop you can simply clean flash it and play around. If you want a ROM that is stable for daily use don't put Lollipop on your 1+1 for now.
So I managed to convince my dad to get a Moto E with his subscription. He hasn't used it a lot yet though because his SIM is not activated yet, so I gave it a try. I have to say it has a premium feel, and feels nice and heavy. I also took the liberty of taking screenshots of the battery life, although it hasn't had a on-load history. [T]http://i.imgur.com/NOmgP6p.png[/T][T]http://i.imgur.com/fdvkrGe.png[/T][t]http://i.imgur.com/LSXffsX.png[/t] Oh and it runs the stock Android 4.4.4 now.

You're basically a nonexistent niche
Even I didn't other messing with the dpi, I found that the stock whatever one is fine. Although I might change it on the 1+1 to fit the dpi of how I have it on my Nexus 5.
I changed mine from 480 to 420.
I changed mine from 480 to 420.
you needed to root and and install a build.prop editor and figure out how to change that. literally less than one percent of android users can even do that let alone want to
I changed mine from 480 to 420.
Same here, except I used 445 since it's the proper N5 DPI setting
youd have to be properly deluded to think that the general android audience would think that changing your dpi is something they care about
you needed to root and and install a build.prop editor and figure out how to change that. literally less than one percent of android users can even do that let alone want to
you can edit it with the stock file manager (with root ofc).
you can edit it with the stock file manager (with root ofc).
it's still not something people actually do on a regular basis
you needed to root and and install a build.prop editor and figure out how to change that. literally less than one percent of android users can even do that let alone want to
let alone rooting or unlocking the bootloader, let alone loosing waranty, especially if the only current way to get root and/or unlocked bootloader on their phones is to go to the phone website to get the unlock code of some sort, and telling the phone maker I am doing this, hence telling them you are voiding your warranty.
Does anyone here own one of the newer HTC One models? I bought the original HTC One when it came out a little bit over two years ago and I love the phone. I've dropped it so many times without damaging it, except a small scratch on the screen. I've been looking in to getting a newer one since my phone plan has run out. How durable are the newer HTC One, looking at HTC One M8 at the moment.
