https://oneplus.net/oneplus-silver-bullet-earphones
i would spend the extra 10 bucks and get these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HUNUOJW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 [editline]26th November 2014[/editline] Those are actually made by the same company. They have the exact same packaging (minus the logos and different colors). [editline]26th November 2014[/editline] i think they're actually white versions of the piston 3rds.
Hope so. I could pretty much just sell my nexus 5 and throw an extra £20 in the pot for one. I've heard it's a decent upgrade from the Nexus 5 too.
I've posted this list again so here it is! 1+1 has the better: -camera besides not having OIS which would have been very nice -battery, this thing lasts 2x longer or more based on my usage -technically about 6 months newer -slightly higher internal specs -runs CM which has additional features on top of stock without the requirement of unlocking the bootloader and flashing another ROM -more RAM -more storage with up to 64GB -4k video -slow motion video options -larger display and phone if you like that, for reference it is about the same size as the Nexus 6, iPhone 6+ and Note 4 -better DAC -out of the box OTG and USB drive support -faster out of the box charger that does 2A -better external speakers (louder)
I got a G3 a week ago and I have to say it's very nice and I haven't had the need to flash CM on it thanks to the G3 Tweakbox. But holy shit, what's with Sprint and their ads on this? It asks me if I want to buy a SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 4 WITH SAMSUNG GEAR on a daily basis, like just chill already
the funny thing is, if they were actually able to produce more than 5 at a time they'd be able to cut costs but they don't have the capital to actually scale to decent runs so they're kinda stuck
There should be an index of when the production dates are by people who got it.
2012 N7 is far from unusable. I'm running 4.4.4 quite happily on it. (Still no Lollipop due to lack of GSM factory image)
As far as my experience with mine is going, its not the Tegra 3 or 1 GB that kills it. AFAIK, it runs fine. Its the stupid NAND issue. Mine runs artificially slow for no good reason. Its faster to navigate Facepunch than it is to navigate to the settings menu. I'll try wiping mine sometime again to see if it helps.
1+1 battery is so amazing, it can go hours without any drain! No but really, what the fuck are you doing Google Maps. I had GPS disabled entirely..
Okay, but once I have GPE on my One, I can put Lollipop on it through CM12 correct? And will I be able to update to the official Lollipop version once it does come out? Is it really worth it to put Lollipop on it now or should I just wait
Sorry for the late reply, as I do not have the same smartphone then you do, so I honestly do not know if there is already a good Lollipop ROM out there for your phone. I think it is similar to the situation with my Oneplus One, there are Lollipop ROMs out there, but they are not recommended for daily usage unless you can live with a buggy ROM that might crash on you even for doing simple things. In my opinion: To try out Lollipop, clean flash it, To have a ROM for daily use, wait for a stable release of a Major ROM or wait for the Stock ROM to upgrade to Lollipop. One Side note with your phone. If you unlock the bootloader and put a custom recovery on it I highly doubt your stock ROM can upgrade on its own. You need to flash your ROMs now on your phone on your own. ROMs like Cyanogen mod have support for custom recoveries tho. This all sounds now really confusing and hard, but it is not. It enables you to switch ROMs as you please and test out new things that you may never knew you could do with your phone.
i think i may get the 1+1 just because the battery is 20x better than my G3.
Ok, can't decide between Xperia Z3 and HTC M8. Help!
Ok, can't decide between Xperia Z3 and HTC M8. Help!
Xperia Z3 has better battery life, better camera and it's fully waterproof. M8 has slightly better speakers and low light performance of the camera is better.
I flashed CM11 because i couldn't stand the LG rom design.
LG's design is a massive improvement over what I had to deal with on two Samsung phones. Good grief, I can't belieive people liked that ~nature and dandelions~ TouchWiz.
I'd say so. I'd sell my G3 for a OPO in a heartbeat. Does anyone else have issues with G3 Tweakbox? Whenever I enable it, my battery goes to shit.
As soon as I said this I got an invite this morning... :tinfoil:
where did you get it?
Grabbed a Moto X for an upgrade to my old phone [t]http://imgkk.com/i/a-9j.jpg[/t] Although these things are only equipped with a dual-core, it feels faster than my old quad-core phablet. I fuckin' love it. Motorola's software is so intuitive that I feel like I can just leave this running stock firmware and just have everything work.
cores mean very little in terms of cpu speed on smartphones
Fuck why do they have to delay payday till after Thanksgiving. :C
nobody seems to post how they used a phone when they post SOT. I once got 15hr 3min SOT, but that's because all I did was read comics.
So this was yesterday, essentially using it all day for me with the same usage patterns as I would have used it on my Nexus 5. Usage will vary based on what classes I have each day. I essentially charged it up before I went to sleep and unplugged it, it was still at like 100% when I woke up to the alarm clock. As you can see, most of the battery was used by the display. Since it was relatively cloudy, I didn't need to use anything above 20% screen brightness, usually I used like 5-10% as it works fine for me. I only used the Facebook messenger a little bit (like talking to one person, sending around 10 messages) and I can see it is a bit of a battery hog considering Hangouts isn't even on the screenshot and I use Hangouts a whole lot. My daily usage consists of using the GPS to figure out what time my next bus is arriving in real time using the Transit app, listening to music on the bus (so Spotify, SoundCloud, Google Play Music All Access), going back to the messages I missed via SMS or Hangouts (I'm in a bunch of group chats, including some for FP, have many others on it too), checking email, bumming around on Twitter, browsing FP, reddit and other websites all while on the bus ride to school. Although I usually just listen to music most of the time since reading shit on the bus gets you dizzy sometimes. Then there is class, typical WiFi everywhere, typical not checking my phone because lectures and what not. I always check my phone in between classes for whatever notifications I get. Since I don't have my own laptop, I use my phone (which ever one it is) to message people, read documents, etc. if I can't get onto the library/classroom computers. SMS here and there, checking to-do lists and calendars. I like taking pictures of random crap like my food and post them in a Hangouts group chat for everyone to bitch about it or something. And more group chatting on Hangouts. Then I go home in which I use the Transit app once again to check for bus routes, alternative routes (because it is fun trying different bus routes if you're not in a hurry), more bumming around on group chats, Twitter, etc. When I'm on the bus, I usually listen to music and continue browsing through stuff. Then I do get home and I still pick up the phone for notifications, messaging and browsing stuff. I still find browsing Twitter on the official twitter app (even though it is buggy) over the desktop website version. And since the desktop at home is often being used, I do a bit of browsing on my phone. I usually charge phones overnight but considering the 2A charger is super fast and almost no drain overnight, I just charge it fully before I go to sleep and leave it like that. I had to plug it in via USB cable to get something for a few minutes hence the short charging. USB port is probably 500mA so not much. I had WiFi on most of the time because I didn't really bother turning it off, even if I was on the bus going to school and back. I did turn it off at some point because the school wifi was being downright retarded so LTE fixes everything. Last bit of screen on was watching something on Netflix. Compared to my Nexus 5 with the above daily usage patterns, it usually dies by the time I get home. Something like 20% or less, 2-3 hours of SOT. It does not last me the full day. The OnePlus One however does. Even though it only has 900mAh more, it is able to surpass the SOT usage by more than twice and completely owns the Nexus 5 in terms of battery life, among other things. The OnePlus One can last me a full day of my usage, the Nexus 5 cannot. I can stop lugging around my power bank because I just don't need to charge the OnePlus One with it. On a side note, I kinda think my Nexus 5's battery is messed up hence the poor performance but many other friends with Nexus 5's have the same meh battery life. I find it is kind of hard to really explain your own usage patterns beyond just listing what you do during your usage and I think the best way to see if a phone or device battery is better or worse is to actually give it a shot for a day or a week. Looking at battery stat charts can only tell you so much. Limited information includes what screen brightness, how many apps and processes were going on at the time, etc. which is often not mentioned. Ones interpretation may be different from another.

My Dad had a Motorola Xoom that he was still using and in pretty rough shape but we basically got $100 for a 3 year old tablet. The Nexus 9 does get really warm though...
