Anyone familiar with Bluetooth COM ports and android?
Unfortunately there hasn't been a higher end 4" phone in a while.
Closest to it is the Moto G, 4.5" [editline]1st December 2014[/editline] Or maybe the Moto E, 4.3"
I'm just extremely picky when it comes to phones. To me Android 5.0 is almost perfect. Really it's only shortcomings are Google not pressuring developers enough to follow design guidelines and a lack of third party app developers (compared to iOS but not really Google's fault). In my taste nobody really makes a good phone hardware wise that's perfect for me. Nexus 5 and HTC devices look good but like I said earlier I hate the bigger equals better mentality that phone manufacturers are in. If Android L was on the body of an iPhone 5S, I'd have my dream phone. (sorry if it seems like I'm coming in just to complain about Android, I'm really not despite the iPhone user agent. As I stated earlier I'm just extremely specific with my phone. I do alot of complaining over in the Apple thread too. My iPhone will annoy me then I'll look at what Google has to offer and something different on their side will annoy me. I've gone back and forth between buying iOS and Android devices)
Yeah, I understand. My dad was in the same boat until he finally bit the bullet and got a G3. Me on the other hand, I prefer the biggest phone I can for my particular uses.
This bigger screen is great for videos but that's about it for me. I don't play games on my phone. I hate having to use two hands on a phone (I'm on an iPhone 6 right now and it literally slides through screen down halfway when I double tap the home button. It's the stupidest but best way of dealing with it haha)
Ah, all I ever use my phone for now is browsing, I go through 4-8gb of data a month on Chrome alone, so the bigger screen is nice. Most of it is forum reading.
I use my phone for ricing the home screen.
If Android L was on the body of an iPhone 5S, I'd have my dream phone.
The first gen Moto G is pretty close to the iPhone 5S in size. It's only 1/4" taller and 1/4" wider. And the Moto E is only about 1/16" taller, but also about 1/4" wider than the 5S.
The moto g is not high end
All I do with my phone is bum around on FP and their not-mobile site, reddit, twitter, take photos of stuff and checking my calendar, tasks and timetables. On a somewhat related note, I am really getting used to the size of the 1+1. Battery life is still amazing.
all I really do with my phone these days is play Dots or solitaire while I'm stuck on the toilet, text a particular person, and sometimes use the alarm clock. I mean I could theoretically switch to iOS if I had to right now but what if my life changes enough where I start missing Tasker? Also I prefer the way Android works in general.
Thought the Z3 compact was big, then I remembered what I used to carry around: Here's the whole gang for good measure: [t]http://i1300.photobucket.com/albums/ag90/TheRoboChimp/_1040253_zpsd4c09fdc.jpg[/t]
All this talk of phones being too big, Meanwhile im browsing with my gal tab 3 with one hand unless im typing.
Those bubbles in the screen protector..
Yeah.. I'm suppose to be giving to myself for Christmas, but I keep messing with it. Also, I can't take it outside even if I wanted to as the cover hasn't arrived and I don't want to smash it.
I mean I could theoretically switch to iOS if I had to right now but what if my life changes enough where I start missing Tasker?
Those bubbles in the screen protector..
This is why I got a glass protector instead of cheap plastic. No bubbles. [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/Akasori/DexIzY.jpg[/t] [sp]Though I managed to trap one speckle of dust in the lower left corner.[/sp]
Thing is though, that screen protector on my phone is just the plastic stuff they put on the screen before you open it.
Oh, mine had some stickers and stuff so I didn't recognize it.
There's been an exclamation mark over my cellular bar but it works and I haven't noticed any errors?
Android phones are technically cheaper if people actually buy a phone that fits their needs better Ie don't buy an iphone if you're only going to use facebook, buy something with lower specs and higher battery
this is true but I do miss Tilt to Live
Got my LG G3, Love it. I never thought I would like android much but I'm coming round to it.
All this talk of phones being too big, Meanwhile im browsing with my gal tab 3 with one hand unless im typing.
After using the 1+1 more and more, the size starts to fit right and normal.
Once you do go big, you don't go back
As a 6'4" dude with massive hands, I can't stand using my buddy's iPhone 4 after using my M8 for so damn long.
So I just updated my Nexus 10 to Android 5.0 and it doesn't have sound anymore. Any solutions?
Anyone else's Facebook app crashing on Nexus 5 lollipop? I just rooted with Cwm if it matters.
The facebook app makes my browser crash when I open an article to read, stock rom on my sprint G2
Currently running Paranoid Android 5.0 Alpha 1 on my OPO. So far it's amazingly stable. No crashes, no strange bugs, and the battery is easily on-par or better than CM11s w/ Franco. Now if only Franco.kernel for 5.0 was out.
Just got an email from Google Play with a code for a free copy of Gravity.
