Anyone have any words on the monoprice phone cases? I like the minimal look of them.
I don't know about the cases specifically but they usually make very high quality products.
Read the reviews, usually people would tell you the gist of how it is.
we posting our phone history?
started from the bottom

Then went with the Nokia Lumia 800

now I'm with the nexus 4 since September 2013

I'll probably upgrade next year, I love my n4 to bits but there's so much better on the market. Idk I might hold on to it, it's a perfect phone for me
God, the Z3C charges much faster than my HTC legend. It's like I've been in a bunker for 4 years.
2A charger are amazing indeed.
LG Xenon
HTC Desire HD
iPhone 5
iPhone 6
I have no idea what I want next.
Got my monoprice BT headphones in the mail day before yesterday. They work great, they sound pretty great for bluetooth too. Couldn't use them at work yesterday because they wouldn't turn on until they were fully charged.
I'm jealous. But my Sennheiser Momentums On-Ears are working great as mobile headphones.
I should get some decent earbuds for on the go listening instead of lugging around a full pair of headphones.
so my Nexus 7 with all my normal apps installed and light usage, has lost 7% in 28 hrs.
I'd say that's a win there. Already seems to be more responsive too, probably some memory leaks fixed too.
I'm really hoping this g3 has better battery life than my current s4. I get like 6 hours max of battery life. Like 2 to 3 of straight use. Gps, bluetooth, sync, etc off, screen between 1/4 and 1/3 brightness.
Google Music decided to wakelock all last night for no apparent reason, meaning it charged about 30% in 6 hours. I hope this isn't a regular occurrence.
Is it worth making an I/O cardboard, if so how much would it run me? (I should have cardboard somewhere)
Further more, I assume it should work fine on a moto x 2014?
The auto brightness on stock CM11s on the 1+1 seems to be pretty accurate to my preferences compared to the god awful one on Android 5.0
Lux gets my brightness about right almost all the time, it's well worth paying for the proper version

i couldn't imagine going back to a fixed brightness or android stock auto

The only thing I can't stand about Lux is that you have to turn it off to install any .apk. You can't tap the install button on the screen, but you can tap cancel. It only works if I turn off Lux...

Yeah, that's a security feature of Android I think. It keeps apps from using 'fake' taps to install shit without your permission.
Of course, apps installed as system apps can still do it. (Yay for carrier installed malware!)

not a problem here

get a pair of soundmagic e10s. they are really great
Apparently I dislike in-ear earbuds.

I own a pair of SoundMagic E10s, they are amazing considering they are so cheap. Would recommend JVC HA-FXT90s if you want to spend the extra $20 since they are even better.
Can someone help me find a good 200 dollar phone? Australian and unlocked. I am getting a new phone for christmas and I want a good one.

Oh and a good cheap one, I want to see the options out there.

Moto G 2013
Moto E (cheaper)
Moto G 2013

Moto G 2013 goes over 200 dollars, around 67 dollars more for the 2nd gen.
Moto E is under 200.
But I am not too sure on which is better exactly.
To be honest, I have no clue on what I should be looking for in a phone. I just need an upgrade from my old button slide-up phone.
Also is getting a phone that is 1080 HD under 200 impossible? Just curious.
Is it possible that Samsung use pentile pixels to make cheaper AMOLED displays?

Get some monoprice 8320s, you can't beat them for the price.
Too bad I don't like in ear ones.

Your best bet would get a used phone. You can probably get a Nexus 4 for under 200 and it's better than Moto G and E.
These permissions android always asks for, are they relating OS permissions or legalities?
