Thought GTA San Andreas finished downloading... nope.
I went into a supermarket earlier today.
It's obvious when a certain location is a bit of a dead spot on Rogers when I get 0-1 bar of LTE or 3G, it won't connect to HSPA, instead I get EDGE data connection. Force LTE only and for a brief second it goes to full bars LTE then loses reception connection entirely. This happens when the phone tries to connect to a different carriers tower/femtocell/microcell and gets kicked off it. It connects in the first place for emergency calling protocols, phone requests data connection, get's it for a millisecond, then gets booted off entirely. It's pretty annoying. Going into Airplane mode/rebooting doesn't change the connection issues. And because it went to full bars for a second, there has to be a femtocell or microcell in here somewhere serving Bell/Telus. Or Rogers tower is far away/interference. Another place to report shitty reception..
What's the best way to make a head tracking device out of your phone with a google cardboard for streaming games with? I can not get any way to work other than some shitty mouse emulation method that barely works
Are there any good running apps that work with Google Music?
Are there any good running apps that work with Google Music?
Google Music is the only app it works with Afaik
What was that app or thing that you can install that disables wifi based on gps/location/what wifi networks are in range?
Tasker.

Ok this is cool as shit, manual exposure and manual focus slider. It works on Nexus 5 and 6 on Android 5.0 only right now. After following development, it now has almost 4K recording at 30fps. It works. Later on, there will be 1080p 60fps recording and some other stuff. Also works for photos.
Why have I never thought of installing applications from pc like this?

It's so much easier -_-
tease material hangouts isn't cool, i've been waiting for so damn long.
Material hangouts looks like shit. Although it better have the swipe back to the conversation list function that was lost in the recent updates..
Also needs stickers support, iOS has had that for ages.
So I bought a new LG G Pad 8.3 for $180 for my GF for Christmas. I haven't been using a screen protector on my phone for over 6 months, are tablets usually easier to scratch? I bought one of those annoying flippy style cases that Apple uses, do they scratch the screen? Is there anything else to think of when it comes to a tablet since this is my first.

Bit late on our personal phones history but:
2006-2007: Nokia 3310
2007-2008: Siemens A60 (Until I decided to take it's body case off and put it into acid in metal works school I went to, I thought - oh awesome, it will lose it's black color and become white.... I never found the case again, it dissolved)
2008-2009: Some motorolla with blue backlight.
2009-2010: Blackberry Curve 8530
2010-2011: Galaxy Ace (This is where I first used Android)
2011-2012: Xperia U
2012 (2 days): iPhone 4 (got it for free, sold after 2 days using)
2012-2014: Xperia Z
2014 (June) - 2014 (October): Galaxy Y (don't ask) :v:
October - Today and foever after: OnePlus One.
Also during 2010 I swapped like 3 phones of which models I don't know,
basically two nokias and some chinese phone with aerial and two sim cards :v:
As you can see, once I started using Android in 2010 I never went back.

What is a good place to buy music in high quality because I'm tired of buying music and having to download a nicer version somewhere else :v:

bandcamp has a nice selection of formats to download, no converting required

Although if you're looking for popular pop songs often played on the radio, I got nothing. I just use Google Play Music All Access.

That first ipad wasn't not fun to use for web browsing, I had to use a Vista laptop because the experience on the i-pad was horrible.

What happened to your xperia Z that you had to use a Galaxy Y?
Google Music is the only app it works with Afaik
Couch to 5k and Zombies Run both appear to work if I start Play Music before hand.

I don't know why but eduroam has never worked for me. Always need to use the regular uni wifi instead.

My schools wifi is weird, some places it's obviously throttled 24/7. Other places it is not. I also had over 1.5GB left before the usage counter reset (which it did already) so I could have used my LTE instead of waiting for shit to take forever to load. Oh well, finals week. I can LTE it all the way. Funny enough, some areas on campus get amazing reception. Like full bars of LTE even though the area is surrounded by various walls and shit. Then I remembered the signal is traveling along a ton of stuff that can carry a signal around. And cell phones cause interference with equipment too.
Finally ditched my Lumia 520 for a moto g 2014 today. Really fucking impressed with it so far, but a little disappointed that it doesn't have lollipop yet.
Is there any release schedule for it? The version of the phone I have is the XT1068 if that helps. I've tried googling myself but I can only find threads on sites asking the same question without an answer.

Well it's back plate started sticking off from overheating (known issue on original Z's) so I decided to sell it before it goes any worse and loses value. I posted ad: Selling Xperia Z for money (make offer) + ANY android phone.
Just needed android phone before I could afford new phone. So some guy offered me 100 Eur + Galaxy Y in absolutely bad condition (scratched a lot), but well it's still android - could sync my Contacts and use social networks somewhat.
When I got OPO I sold Galaxy Y for 25 Eur, so I could say I sold Xperia Z for 125 Eur really.
I always keep boxes from phones as in Ireland (at least) it boosts it's value for resale.
But then again when I was selling iPhone 4, I got box from my friend and sold it along with it, it added extra 25 Eur value.

Edgyroam is my school's regular wireless network (-_- )
It's frustrating as you need to restart the adapter if you move around the campus

the city in which my uni resides has omnipresent wifi on city streets i.e. you can walk right down Main doing some window shopping and you'll never lose your connection
except that the connection is eduroam and sometimes the speeds are utter shit or you need to restart your wifi
I have eduroam at school and have 0 problems with it.
I have eduroam and I have no idea how to get onto it. Its probably throttled to hell anyway.
I'll stick to the schools other network that gets like 90 Mb/s.
Eduroam if set up properly should literally be your school network... It's not eduroam setting up a network at your school, it's your school setting up your network and then partnering with eduroam to allow access to every other participating eduroam network around the world.

Then our school must be doing something weird then. We have a PEAP authenticated network that is specific to our school, then eduroam. I don't think anybody uses it here as their primary network though.
I remember when everyone was using the open connection ssid instead of the enterprise log in. So everyone was connecting, then manually logging in (or at least went to the log in page), press accept, then was connected. I was using the enterprise log in such that you set it up once and forget about it until your password is changed. Connection speeds were still slow as shit during lunch times when everyone was streaming shit. It was a little secret that I thought even the most techy people at my school knew about. Turns out they didn't for the entire time since the wifi rolled out. I didn't realize this until after we graduated. I think they probably know that they could have by now.
