Maybe if we had more pixels we'd be able to see how good it is
If you guys didn't know btw, 1+ is having a Christmas sale for their One. No invite needed. https://oneplus.net/ They promise to get the phone to you before the 25th. Ordered mine earlier, canny wait.

are you sure you didn't use HDR?
are you sure you didn't use HDR?
So when I look back at the photo, it looks like there is but I remember what I was doing when I took this photo. I was directly sending it to a Google Hangouts group chat (FP General or Android Chat) and I was using the stock CM camera app. I don't think it allowed me to do HDR and send it. I tried it again now and it seems to work but maybe the camera app updated or something. There is no indication on what mode I was using in the EXIF data and I don't remember what mode I was using the entire time for other photos. The blurring on the CN tower and the chimney does make it look like HDR mode was used, which is probably the case.
I may sound like an ego asshole but - Am I the only one who doesn't want OnePlus to be selling OPO wihout invite? :v: I mean to make it more or less unique or rare
I may sound like an ego asshole but - Am I the only one who doesn't want OnePlus to be selling OPO wihout invite? :v: I mean to make it more or less unique or rare
several people in this thread have one, its not as rare as you think it is.
several people in this thread have one, its not as rare as you think it is.
I know, I don't mean world wide. In Ireland for example: Nobody even knows what this phone is, not even local chinese shops who know all phones in the world and have like 50 cases for each kind of phone, but when I came to them they were surprised to see something like that and don't even know it existed. It's easier to get phones like iPhones or Samsung (which are very popular in Ireland) and like 20 of my friends want OPO now but can't get it because of invites and complicated delivery system to Ireland. (Shipping to UK -> Then to Northern Ireland -> Then to Dublin)
One of the largest complaints about the phone and the company is lack of availability. People told people to choose a different phone if they don't want to wait to get an invite, etc.
It's only rare because most people don't give enough shits to buy an invite only, off contract phone manufactured by a chinese company they've never heard of. In fact that's probably the last thing they'd ever think to do when needing a new phone. Rare implies a high demand for something in small supply. There is hardly any demand relative to the consumer smartphone market.
seems to be USA only as it's not found in the Canadian store and the USA store does not ship to Canada..
Meanwhile, in Canada, you can get a Lumia 520 for the amazingly low price of $132.07 plus $24.10 delivery fees. And you get to choose from red or white. http://www.expansys.ca/s.aspx?search=lumia%20520
£104 in the UK which is over $160 USD. What the fuck.
After streaming music for an entire 8 hour shift and occasional browsing my g3 is down to 70% battery. I can live with this.
My Nexus 7 (2013) is now offering me the Android 5.01 OTA update. So just going to wait until the battery charges and then update.
The Nexus Factory Images page just got updated. I was hoping they were going to add the nakasig (tilapia) 5.0(.1) image. They didn't. :tinfoil:
I'm so close to buying a Z3. Pay like £30, then it's £35 a month for 2 years. 4GB data, 4G, unlimited texts and minutes. I just dunno how good Vodafone are.

If you live in a built up and well populated area then the speeds are great, more rural areas are a little sketchy. The only thing that made me switch was the lack of unlimited data.
didn't the G3 get 5.0 some time ago? I remember a leaked build popped up last month, and now the xda forums is loaded with a bunch of 5.0.1 stock ROMs. can't tell if it's available over OTA yet seeing as I'm using CM12, but I believe its been available for some time
G3 has been getting 5.0 but only on like 2 models.
Good to know, I've checked their coverage map thingy and it seems like pretty good 4G coverage for my city. But O2 said the same about 3G 2 years ago and those cunts lied, what an awful experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Anyway I've heard good things so far so I might get my PAC code for tomorrow!
G3 has been getting 5.0 but only on like 2 models.
I know the Korean model got it first, then Poland was the first for a rolling release? All I know is my g3 doesn't have it.
I know the Korean model got it first, then Poland was the first for a rolling release? [editline]10th December 2014[/editline] oh hey there are actually a lot of 5.0 roms for the d851 now. i'll have to check some out later.

Guys, i was planning to get a lumia 635 on my carrier for 86€, but there's this Moto G 4G which I think it's better. Incase I get the Moto G, will it get android 5.0?
I've had a galaxy s3 for 1.5 years now and the battery doesn't last 30 minutes from full to empty if constantly being used. I always have it on power saving mode and make sure it's only running Chrome and skype which I need notifications for. I tried some kind of battery app and that made it run out even faster. I tried my dad's battery (which admittedly isn't new either) but the issue still persisted. Will buying a new battery fix it? Are there more powerf batteries available? What kind of battery life should I be expecting from my phone, that only runs chrome and skype on power-saving mode at any given time? I would really appreciate any advice. edit: btw if I have it charging from an outlet and I'm using it, the battery drains rather than charge. When the phone dies, however, the battery is immediately up at 20-30% when I restart it. This happens repeatedly.

Hey guys, here soon after Christmas I'm looking to switch phones for a stronger coverage phone. I went from an LG En-V Touch to an iPhone 4s on Verizon and found the iPhone had a lot weaker cell reception and dropped calls a LOT easier than my older dumb phone. Any recommendations on Android phones with really good reception on the East Coast in the U.S.? I drive a lot for work and need a fairly reliable phone for my job.
