GPS what are you doing?
GPS what are you doing?
killing your phone.
killing your phone.
It's shitty reception, not the GPS
That was cooler than I expected it to be. I have my phone linked to my desktop with KDE Connect, and I received a call while I was playing music. KDE Connect paused my music, gave me a notification of who was calling, then after the call started playing music again.
I have my phone linked to my desktop with KDE Connect

For example, with KDE Connect you can receive your phone notifications on your computer
DOES THIS MEAN I DON'T HAVE TO REVERSE ENGINEER PUSHBULLET?! holy shit you might just be my savior
DOES THIS MEAN I DON'T HAVE TO REVERSE ENGINEER PUSHBULLET?! holy shit you might just be my savior
But that wont be as much fun =(
But that wont be as much fun =(
Well it's not yet as pretty as Pushbullet when an SMS comes in, but it's effective. The main thing I really miss is having my contact picture come up when someone texts me
Cerberus just got a major update. You can now use geofencing and have your phone email you if it leaves an assigned area.
Will any old MHL cable work with my Z3 compact?
If the Z3c uses MHL, then any cable should work, just like any microUSB cable
Actually they're doing a Christmas sale here soon where you don't need an invite
Thinking of getting one, but then I looked at the many posts on the one plus one forum about the "non-existent" support. Makes me shiver.
I just got my tegra note, and I already love it to death. I never owned a tablet before, but this seems great, especially for that price
If the Z3c uses MHL, then any cable should work, just like any microUSB cable
Not all MHL is created equal. http://blog.clove.co.uk/2012/06/08/samsung-galaxy-s3-uses-a-different-mhlhdmi-adapter/
Are Intel's Atom CPUs just not very good in Android yet, or is the Nexus 5 really so powerful it's almost as fast as a 2014 tablet? [t]http://i.imgur.com/LvP1mR5.jpg[/t]
Last I checked Intel is still a bit behind for performance on the phone and tablet side compared to ARM
Last I checked Intel is still a bit behind for performance on the phone and tablet side compared to ARM
I mean, per clockcycle the tablet is definitely better. The tablet is a 1.83GHz quad, Nexus 5 being 2.27GHz but still a bit slower... Still, I would expect a bigger difference.
My Z3 came today, it's amazing. The size and button placement will take some getting used to.
Are Intel's Atom CPUs just not very good in Android yet, or is the Nexus 5 really so powerful it's almost as fast as a 2014 tablet? [t]http://i.imgur.com/LvP1mR5.jpg[/t]
quadrant is god awful. immediately disregard anyone that uses it [editline]15th December 2014[/editline] and if that is your photo please do not disregard yourself but find a better benchmark
quadrant is god awful
I suspected that it was awful, mostly because the comparison chart is basically useless, no modern devices at all listed. What's a better benchmark?
BaseMark, 3dMark and Sunspider/Kraken are all good benchmarks
or just judge by user experience on the device because that's all that really fucking matters synthetic benchmarks are dumb
except in this context someone is looking for the results of an accurate synthetic benchmark?? [editline]15th December 2014[/editline] which, believe it or not, do have some kind of link to in-person performance
If it can't beat out everything else on paper, then what's the point of owning it?
It was mostly out of curiosity, since the tablet seems a bit sluggish sometimes...
Thinking of getting one, but then I looked at the many posts on the one plus one forum about the "non-existent" support. Makes me shiver.
File PayPal dispute, they respond faster that way but in general most people don't have issues with it.
It boggles my mind why would anyone use an Intel tablet with Android Also Bay Trail and the thing that comes after it are pretty good to be honest
The thing that comes after it has some really good potential. I'm excited, especially if it's x64 (which they're supposed to be releasing next year)
But what's the point if you can get those same kinds of tablets with full blown W8+Bing support (And install Android x86 or run dalvik alongside Windows) Also current gen Atom SoC tablets are already x64 fyi [editline]15th December 2014[/editline] At least with the Jolla Tablet you have the excuse that it's full blown GNU/Linux with Wayland
The phone ones are not. I guess that's where my mind goes most of the time as I no longer own a tablet.
well fellas, the Nexus 5 finally got 5.0.1 got my Nexus 5 flashed over and rooted. Will report back with battery life and anything I notice http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/12/15/google-posts-android-5-0-1-lrx22c-factory-image-for-nexus-5-with-matching-binaries/
