It works in Canada and I'm in the process of getting all of those apps because why not?
Found an app to force my phone to use 4G instead of 3G. Suddenly I get 5x the speed with only one or two bars.
Definitely needed this $65 medical book app
Get the oneplus maybe? Wink nudge etc
I'm considering it, are invites hard to come by?
I already know that the size of the phone is fine for me and I can get a good price on it through the carrier that I'm going to be staying with for the next 2 years anyway. The skip track shortcut is something I use a dozen times daily and has probably saved me from dropping my phone more times than I can count (don't have to take it out of my pocket), so it's quite important
Pretty much any custom rom will have you covered

Greenify doesn't really work on Lollipop is there an alternative? Xposed also seems to not work in L.
I'm considering it, are invites hard to come by?
Ive got 2 with 4 days left until they expire, pm if interested
Should I get the Sony Z3C or the LG G3? I initially wanted to get the G3 but after some comparison, I think the Z3C is on par and is more affordable. What do you guys think?
Greenify doesn't really work on Lollipop is there an alternative? Xposed also seems to not work in L.
Xposed doesn't work on L because of the switch from Dalvik to ART. I doubt there will ever be an Xposed for L as the developer has lost interest and remaking it for ART is hugely complex. What's your problem with Greenify? It's working fine on mine.
Wtf is this
Those services are known to be slow, but they will catch up to you and I assume you'll be charged.
Wtf is this
If you're only using it to tether another mobile or tablet device you can do this and possibly bypass any restrictions on using hotspot provided you're rooted. Through either ADB shell or a terminal emulator (as root) run settings put global tether_dun_required 0. Then change your APN settings to IPV4 only. Worked for me, however I get kicked of the network using it with a laptop and have to restart the phone.
Oh hey, OnePlus is doing more giveaways. Of course, you don't really need a OPO to get it. https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/contest-7-days-of-giveaways.216123/
Damn, is the nexus 6 overall that bad?
Those are my measurements and yes it is. I honestly don't use the phone anymore because it's hard to use outside, and the battery life is bad, and it janks harder than the N5 even with the firmware Motorola sent me with FDE off and some other optimizations. I actually still use the Nexus 5 even though I have the 6 here. It should be noted that AMOLED has luminance drop off with increases in average picture level. In Lollipop, and on most web pages, you're looking at between 80 and 90% APL. I still have the actual numbers which are hard to see on that graph. You're looking at 80% APL: 288.395 nits 90% APL: 264.2115 nits It's a Galaxy S4 gen AMOLED so it's sort of gaudy and terrible and it uses a lot of power. It also has a lower SPPI than the Nexus 5 so anything with color is going to possibly have a lower chroma resolution than the 1080p N5 which is kind of silly but that's how it is.
The Z3c has godly battery life so I'd pick it over the G3. It's also not massively huge.
Yeah, both the battery life and the not-so-big screen is one of the reasons that make me want to get it. However, I've also heard that some users had their screens cracked by doing nothing to it which worries me so I'm kinda stuck on the fence here.
Those services are known to be slow, but they will catch up to you and I assume you'll be charged.
three UK havent caught up to me ever. 40.45GB downloaded since oct [editline]26th December 2014[/editline] also pay as you go, so they cant just go all 'o lol used data? here have a 200 quid bill'
So I was looking at US mobile contracts for a friend and I actually feel a bit sick looking at these prices. Is this shit for real, like do people pay this much for data in the US: In the UK a SIM-only contract for unlimited 4G data is £15 (~$23). I knew it was bad in the US but holy fuck am I disgusted.

[editline]26th December 2014[/editline] Also it's worth pointing out that USA has a much larger land mass and population to cover in terms of service and reception than the UK.

Most at the times when I want to use the phone making me wait for it to finish closing all the apps for like 25 seconds or more.
