Tried out the 60 second exposure and got a pretty clear picture of dozens of stars in the night sky but slightly blurry due to my handshaking, wish the OPO had optical stabilization.
They're doing it properly. Full 13mp image, no hacky 1080p max resolution (because how they and other camera app developers did was record multiple frames and slap them together in post processing, which only went up to 1080p). There was an 8 second max exposure mode in the stock CM camera app (which crashed when you enable raw dng output), with camera fv-5 it's max 60 seconds which is hilariously amazing.
can you post a comparison between the cm 8 sec and that 60 sec.
Seems like every month my Nexus 4 randomly has a new hairline crack on it
Yo any idea on how to restore a photo I just deleted (htc one m7, rooted)? I kind of need it
Yo any idea on how to restore a photo I just deleted (htc one m7, rooted)? I kind of need it
turn off phone right now [editline]28th December 2014[/editline] then do this. it's referencing vaulty, but that's not necessary (obviously you'll have to turn your phone back on, but do it only right when you plug it in and you're ready to attempt recovery) http://www.squidtooth.com/recover-deleted-files-on-your-android
Tried out the 60 second exposure and got a pretty clear picture of dozens of stars in the night sky but slightly blurry due to my handshaking, wish the OPO had optical stabilization.
Even with image optical stabilization, it's going to be very hard to hold the phone with your hands for a minute. Your best bet is to get a tripod and phone to tripod adapter. Or somehow prop it onto something to take the photo. You can use stuff like books, erasers, etc. Long exposures are often done using tripods because tripods are useful for that kind of thing. Hell even tape it on of you wanted to (I did that once with my Sony Potato, it was fun). On a related note, using the camera heats up the back near the camera quiet a bit and also uses a lot of battery. It's like maybe 3-4 hours of constant photo and 4k video taking until you run out of juice.
Guys how do you make it 60 second exposure time? I only have 8 in selector :(

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flavionet.android.camera.pro
Yeah turns out I have it purchased already, bought it year ago when I had Xperia Z and wanted to take photo under water, so I bought it because it supports volume key camera :v: [editline]29th December 2014[/editline] Made few long exposure shots. This stuff is awesome, wish I had better scenery. Going to have another crack at getting my gpad back to 4.2 so I can get it off the bloated LG stock
can you post a comparison between the cm 8 sec and that 60 sec.
Although this isn't a 8 second vs 60 second long exposure test, I did a OnePlus One (stock CM11s 44S ROM, no root, locked bootloader) stock CM camera app (v.2.0.004) vs. Camera FV-5 (v.2.35), set both to 8 second long exposure/shutter speed. The aperture of the camera is physically locked at f/2 because it's a cell phone camera. Most cameras on phones/tablets are in the F/2 range. Full resolution files uploaded onto Imgur. Stock CM Camera app: [t]http://i.imgur.com/GqMqQXm.jpg[/t] EXIF: 8sec ISO 34 File size: 1.81MB Camera app settings: switched to Slow Shutter mode, selected 8 seconds for Slow shutter speed. Disabled RAW DNG capture due to it being buggy, it would crash the camera app. This issue has been reported by many people so until it gets fixed, no long exposure RAWs, unless Camera FV-5 brings it to the table first. JPEG Quality set to 100. Camera FV-5 app: [t]http://i.imgur.com/K7Jarlg.jpg[/t] EXIF: 8sec ISO 100 File size: 4.84MB Camera app settings: S mode, 8-second shutter speed, ISO 100. JPEG Quality set to 100. When I was setting it up for the Camera FV-5 shot, I probably should have left it at AUTO ISO rather than switch it to ISO 100 considering the fact that this image looks way more blown out than the Stock CM Cameras image. I learned that the camera itself can go below ISO 100 and beyond. It would be nice for Camera FV-5 to have more ISO options, or at least ISO 50. It would also be cool if it had customizable ISO options with live review when framing the photo. On ISO Auto mode, ISO can change to whatever it wants to be. After playing around with the manual settings and pointing my phone at a bright light source (a.k.a. my desk lamp), Camera FV-5 says that the ISO of the previous image is ISO 1. Meanwhile the EXIF data says ISO 200. I think the EXIF data is buggy for that in some way. Also if the image is pure white, there is no ISO value in the EXIF data. The FV-5 image has a much larger file size, just a little over 2.5 times larger than the CM camera app. The focusing for both images are different for whatever reason so this initial test isn't the greatest. I will definitely play around with the slow shutter and get some attachment to slap my phone onto a tripod or something that's actually stable and stationary.
How the hell is it possible to lose a whole hour of powered-down charge in the matter of five minutes? Thanks google.
I managed to get 4.5 hours SOT over 23 hours without using battery-saving mode on the Nexus 5. Lots of 4G plus a load of streaming over google music. Well happy with that! [t]http://i.imgur.com/RYwbX6p.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/NrYVEuf.png[/t]
Same fucking issues Okay honestly I do need serious help here Okay so I'm trying for the 2nd time to revert my LG v500 (Gpad 8.3) back into 4.2.2 so I can use the loki exploit to upload a custom ROM However LGtools of any degree are fucking up I've installed the LG universal USB drivers, programmes are debugging it fine, everything working like clockwork But LGtools keeps saying no source/port could be found which is boggling me? I mean the fucking computer along with device manager is recognising it fine? What the hell am I doing wrong Along with that, any attempt to put TWRP on there (I'm using a .bat installer) also won't work. It finds the device fine, the debug prompt comes up but then it says boot.sig or whatever failed to fucking execute or something. So I'm in a pickle and I need desperate help!
It finds the device fine, the debug prompt comes up but then it says boot.sig or whatever failed to fucking execute or something.
In this bit, does the bat installer actually stop running of close? I've seen that message before and if it's the one I'm thinking of then boot.sig isn't important. Once that message comes up, keep waiting on the prompt and it should install fine.

It's just two lines of text with the LG logo
No, the bat installer stays open but that is what is displayed on my tablet. It's just two lines of text with the LG logo
Ah ok it's different. I've seen that message before on the prompt and keeping it open starts the install.
If I can get it back to 4.2.2 then I no longer need help, the loki exploit will allow me to do whatever I feel inclined to do, and then I can go to Cyanogen Mod and work from there [editline]30th December 2014[/editline]
Ah ok it's different. This might be what I needed [editline]30th December 2014[/editline] ahhhhhhhh fuck you cunt puts it in download mode and gives me this fucking bullshit, I'll try another tool

good thing I'm getting a Moto X soon, because I think my Skyrocket may be shitting itself hardware keys aren't always responding, and chrome just navigated to a random link without me tapping anything, then subsequently crashed RIP Pisces, 2011?-2015
Maybe it's just mine but for whatever reason, near the microUSB port of the OnePlus One, it is the source of creaking noises. I noticed this a few days ago and it's actually driving me nuts. It sometimes happens when I'm tapping on the display. After putting pressure around that area, I get more creaking noises. It happens consistently when I pinch the lower part of the screen and the lower part of the back plate right on the center near the microUSB port. And again when I apply pressure at the back plate edge right at the microUSB port. It would be something silly to RMA about. I thought it's the backplate being loose so I applied pressure to push it back into place. I've yet to take the backplate apart and reapply it completely. This creaking is probably just common on phones made with lots of plastic.

So we were talking about the ZTE Blade, a really old budget phone from 3-4 years ago in the FP Android Chat on Google Hangouts, and I decided to search up my good old Sony Potato, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro SK17a and found this website. http://www.cellphones.ca/cell-phones/sony-ericsson-xperia-mini-pro/
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini pro is not an entry-level smartphone. Far from it, in fact. As small as it may seem, it actually packs some fairly impressive hardware and software features. One only need to spend a few minutes using it to fully understand just how great it is not only as a phone but also as a mobile computer.
:suicide:
