Buying devices wouldn't be possible, the credit expires after 12 months and you won't ever get enough surveys to reach it in time
i didn't even know evernote had quotas since i wasn't fully aware you could upload anything besides text
You can attach anything and upload it, pretty much any file you wanted to. I used to use Evernote a whole lot 3 years ago when I first got my Sony Potato.. Those were good days, I used to type a bunch of notes using my phone and do more editing and shit with Evernote on web browser. I basically put a bunch of high school notes for every subject onto it and it worked out pretty well. Now in college I kind of don't really bother making notes for everything like I used to. Typing on phone sucks, no laptop for school yet, so I might just write shit on paper and deal with it :v:
Is there anyway to have an alarm on Kitkat whilst still being on vibrate? Can't do it on my One M8 or Nexus 7 on Kitkat.
Alarms ignore vibrate/mute state, it has it's own volume slider. Or that's how it is on every device I have anyway: Nexus 5, OPO, Nexus 7.

If I put the phone on silent/vibrate before, it locked the alarm slider to mute. Can't find the option to disable it on my Nexus 7 though.

Got a Moto G for my girlfriend and the camera won't work at all. Says it can't start, for any app that uses it. Factory reset and still the same. Set it up for a replacement with Amazon and it said I have to send it within 30 days. Do they send out a replacement straight away or when they receive the defective one? Because it says if they don't receive it within 30 days they charge me for a new one so I'm assuming they are sending one first

Check your orders page, it should have an order for the replacement.
It hasn't shown up yet in Orders. Does it usually take a while to? Actually it shows up where the original order is as awaiting a return [editline]4th January 2015[/editline] I'm just not sure where it is being delivered to? I guess it just gets sent to the same address the original was bought from because it didn't ask where I wanted it shipped to
syncing with dropbox? thats a thing apparently
I don't have the Dropbox app installed, nor did I enable any similar features besides Google+ Auto Backup. Of course, that goes under Google+ if it's using 10GB of Internet so far. The Gallery app has 600KB in its app data and 26MB in its cache which is a bit weird.

so my iPhone 5 broke recently and I've been meaning to get an Android for awhile. I'm currently using my dads old Note 1 till I decide on a phone to finally get, but of course it doesn't have the latest software or anything so its hardly a good measure to trial using an Android phone. Regardless I'm liking it so far and the options presented to me, although I'd like to learn more about the OS and modding it, emulation tools etc other then that the question I pose is: which phone to get? If I were to buy a phone now I'm looking at the One M8 or maybe the OPO but really not sure on that one. I'm also hesitant in buying a buy right away because I feel as if in the coming months there will be some good phones coming on the market (One M9 perhaps?) and wonder if I should just stick it out with this Note until then. Any opinions or advice would be appreciated
I can vouch for the 2014 Moto X, the 1+1 gets glowing reviews around here if you feel like wrestling with that invite nonsense, I hear good things about the One. I haven't been paying attention to any Android news recently so I don't know if any blockbusting phones are coming out soon or not.
Getting an invite around here isn't too hard, getting one around payday or when you have money is. :v:
I really like my G3, probably the ideal phone for me tbh in every way.
I really like my G3, probably the ideal phone for me tbh in every way.
is the sharpening issues on the display I've been hearing about so much still there or what?
is the sharpening issues on the display I've been hearing about so much still there or what?
It's nothing that bothers me at all, but I can see how some people may not like it. (Sue me but I actually kinda like it)
The only thing I dislike about my nexus 5 is the battery
It's nothing that bothers me at all, but I can see how some people may not like it. (Sue me but I actually kinda like it)
I'm going to have to go to some store and find a demo one or something, I don't think I noticed it back in like.. August.
is the sharpening issues on the display I've been hearing about so much still there or what?
is it, but has been fixed by a thirdparty developer. I should get a smartwatch even though I haven't worn a watch for like almost a decade... [t]https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-nF1qoGURM6s/VKpR-N0douI/AAAAAAAA86I/2qGc9O_sMpE/w408-h544-no/702425363_20558_7989626078437676712.jpg[/t]
i'm waiting for the next moto 360 personally
The only thing I dislike about my nexus 5 is the battery
That was the biggest annoyance I had with the Nexus 5, bad battery life. 1+1 will give you more than twice the battery life in terms of screen on time or better out of the box if your usage patterns and apps installed were more or less the same. It's like guaranteed 6 hours of SOT or more based on my usages so far. This pic would have about 12 hours of SOT, although I was on airplane mode during the time of the screenshot for a brief moment due to super shitty reception at the time.
I really like the g watch r, but I think I'll wait till the next model.
I'm happy with my Pebble.
I'm happy with my Pebble.
I'd buy the steel if it didn't have about $3500 of hardware ahead of it on the list.
I won't be really getting a smart watch any time soon, laptop is on top of the list of stuff to get.
Out of curiosity, is it a Moto G 2014 (2nd gen)?
Yeah it is the 2nd gen why?
You only get a survey around once a day or two.
I don't want to reveal a secret but if you register on opinion rewards that you are a female you generally get 5-10x the surveys that a male will. I could only assume that the testing pool for females is vastly smaller and you have a significantly increased chance to get a survey. I got about $6 in a year while my GF made about $10 in 3 months, after about a year it gave me the initial survey again and now that I did it as a 18-24 female in a suburban area I make about $10 every 3 months. It also seems to be location based as a few days after I visit some stores I'll receive a survey so if you have the passive location reporting off, you might be missing out on many.
