Who wants to own a phone that gets to 44c by browsing? Like the Samsung SG4. [editline]4th June 2013[/editline] Then keep it to yourself? I waste how much money I want and on what I want.
get a case, getting warm is nothing new to phones
'tired with its problems' is better than 'i'm bored with it' - thanks for clearing it up (I have no idea about the note 2!) also the htc one does get warm occasionally but so does every other phone and I haven't heard anything about overheating issues. also it's sexy as fuck - buy it!
There is a difference between getting warm and really hot. My Note II gets warm which I'm glad for. My SGS2 got insanely hot for nothing. Hearing both SGS4 and HTC one gets that hot is not very fun. But as I said, I will not buy any of them so you guys can calm down. How about this: you can prevent overheating by installing a kernel with extra thermal throttling and undervolting. You can also limit the clockspeed of the processor using an app like SetCPU based on temperature. I have my HTC One go from 1.7 Ghz to 1.3 Ghz when the temperature goes above 100F. That is a really low temperature to set it to, but I rarely play any games more graphically intensive than emulators anyway. [editline]4th June 2013[/editline] I will also, when there are kernels released for 4.2.2 on the One, underclock to 1.5 Ghz and undervolt to 750, with "extra cool" thermal throttling, etc.
NEXUS WARRIOR BUDDIES \o/
I have an S3 though. (But I have Cyanogen on it) [editline]4th June 2013[/editline] Hopefully the Play/pause button won't crap out like on my MGG M16Ps
I swear I've already clicked the button about a billion times (I skip tracks a LOT) and it's still rock solid and working perfectly. The button on my S2 headset got a little loose pretty quick.
And then there's mine, my left earphone decided to randomly stop working, I still need to get round to sending it back. [editline]4th June 2013[/editline] Everything of mine breaks.

[editline]4th June 2013[/editline] There is a difference between getting warm and really hot.
He has the point about the note 2 getting hot abruptly at times, mine has before on internet browsing all of a sudden be using up like 70% of cpu processing next thing I know it a hot brick, im going into task manager and force close it. usually does the trick but it hasn't happen to me more than twice in the last 3-4 months I had it.
no, he's just dumb for owning a phone for 8 months then getting 'bored of it' to the point where he hates it so much that he just wants to 'throw it out of the window' it's stupid, it's a pretty great phone and it wouldn't be nearly as irksome if he was like 'oh, there are some new phones out now that are really good that I'd like to switch to' or 'my note 2 isn't really what I wanted in a phone, I think I'll switch it out to a newer phone that I like more' but no, it's 'I'M BORED OF IT LOLOLOL'
So you guys are mad because someone can switch phones whenever they want because they have the time and money to afford it and make it happen but you can't?

Wow, this is brilliant. My S4 came with a little wired headset in the box. The "L" and the "R" on the earbuds are different; the "L" is embossed with a little dot underneath it, and the "R" is debossed with no dot. So now you can tell which is which when you're not on the surface of the sun. So who makes a good portable USB battery charger for the money? I'm not looking for anything amazing, just something somewhat compact to slip into a suitcase or backpack that can get me through an extra day or two in emergencies.

Who here plays Dungeon Hunter 4?
[t]http://puu.sh/38sfL.jpg[/t] Red is right.
I like the tactile approach more. It works better for pitch darkness, which happens a lot for me.
the new gmail makes me really happy [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/rxKBM2o.png[/thumb]
Your name is literally Nigger. You should find a way to shade those notifications the same colour as your time/signal/etc. That'd look super sweet.
Wow, you're the first person I've ever met online to understand that it's "for God's sake," not "for God Sakes."
I'll take it as a compliment, thank you. :v:
Also, grab the One. The heat issues of it really aren't that bad. The phone won't overheat, but it'll get pretty warm with regular usage. The Z is nice and all, but it just doesn't offer anything cool enough to justify it, other than the water proofing. It also uses N4-tier hardware. Granted, it's not bad, but it's technically old if you're going to spend full price on a flagship. [editline]4th June 2013[/editline] Breakin' my merge, man. Another thing to note about the One though, is that it'll wobble when you lay it on its back. The Z won't. You should keep that in mind too.
I'd presume the One would be able to dissipate heat much more easily than plastic considering it's made of aluminium, but then again the plastic on the SGS4 is pretty thin so I'm not 100% sure. And sorry...
That's why it won't overheat. It'll feel like you're holding a heatsink though. It gets pretty warm during the day when it just sits in my pocket in a warm room.
The samsung charger you got with your s4 is portable :v: Or at least all official samsung chargers I have and got with devices are travel chargers and they work wonders.
No, I want a portable battery pack for charging that I can plug USB devices into.
I'm sure this is asked all the time, but what's the best Android phone on the market offered by AT&T in the States? I have a shitty iPhone 4 refurb w/ jailbreak and it sucks (even without jailbreak). I'm elligible for an upgrade and down to pay for whatever's out there. Top 3 list please? I'd like it to be fast and functional, some reviews I read were talking about how they weren't good for gaming, but I hardly play games on my phone. Also, who partakes in "gaming" on a phone anyways.
No, I want a portable battery pack for charging that I can plug USB devices into.
Ah right. I dunno.
Odin isn't picking up my GS3, even though I have it in Download mode, plugged it in, and have the proper GS3 odin.
Is it in device manager?
