also what do you mean register I only know how to go through the google play store for this stuff
Download Lite and activate it with the info I provided. You're really not missing much though. Just get Nova or Apex, or if you're a lazy fuckwad who hates customization like me, Smart Launcher is great because it categorizes apps for you.
sounds like I'm just installing everything then, heh. any other recommendations for custom junk while we're at it?

UCCW is basically the widget you wanted because you can do literally everything with it
Tasker is a great app that lets you do whatever the hell you want with your phone too, like set your phone to vibrate on work wi-fi or something
UCCW isn't compatible with my device. :suicide:
Is there an app that can sync files between pc's AND several android devices in the background? Dropbox doesn't sync shit on android, the app just lets you access the files online. The BitTorrent Sync unofficial app is broken and resets everything every restart.
I'v learned so much stuff on this page
Anybody used the NOC NS200 ear buds? How do the media controls fair with Android?

I heard that it was a resource hog with not many nice things.

the ability to make all of your app icons float aimlessly across all of your homescreen pages is worth every drop of processing power

totally not annoying when you need to find that one app called the dialer app to call someone

HTC one + gifboom app.
The app really reduces quality, even for a gif, but it's decent I guess. Does google+ enable you to trim the zoe before making it a gif? I haven't tried it yet.
wow I'm running into so many problems with sliding messenger right now, never had any with messaging 7 (windows phone 7 sms app port)...

Pictured: All Ouya games.
Even the pop up is accurate (since I believe the Ouya is still running 2.3)

I kinda want a GamePop if I didn't already own an Android phone. Not really interested in playing phone games on a large screen either.
So I bought sliding messaging Pro tonight because of how much I enjoyed the looks and feel of the app and how it fixed some bugs as seen in the free version. Oh and cards ui is cool.
Sweet, just found out the stock browser has pie controls and now its so much easier than to press a few buttons.

The fact that it's a subscription based console of mobile games is a turn off for me. And while the site says over $200 value in games, So far the highlights have been mostly free or $1-2 and some that doesn't even make sense (can fruit ninja be played with a controller?). Still support for iOS games is pretty cool.

If you trust third party apps with your Dropbox account details, there are certain Dropbox apps that will do automatic syncing of certain directories. Searching for something like "Dropbox sync" should let you find one.

There was this one game called The Sandbox that was really bad about this.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pixowl.thesandbox.android
It would give you full screen ads whenever you went to the main menu. But it would be crafty about it; it would wait for a few moments, and then display the ads. So you would go to the menu, click "new game" or something but nope an ad appears a second later and it counts as a click. So it exits the app and takes you to some random web page.
Then it would keep asking you to rate the app. So one day I got fed up and gave it a one star rating. But then the pop up would never go away. It kept asking me to rate the app even though I did already. There is no way around this.
Finally, it's a free to play game with in-app purchases; you can buy points to unlock more elements to play with, or you an earn those points in game. So the game would always erase all of your progress at every update so you had to start all over again. I think they wanted you to buy their shit to not put up with that.
All in all, I have never seen a more despicable [del]mobile[/del] game in my life. Go get Burning Sand instead or something.
I would use Sliding Messenger, but I think the sheer number of Messages I have is what is causing the constant slowdown and crashes. I currently have 30k messages saved since February.

I've got my messenger to cap each thread to 500 messages and delete the old ones because I have doubts about my potato hardware

I would set a cap on messages, but I always go back through my messages to find information.

Is there any software that allows you to archive them and read it later?
Tons. Ranging from saving to various text files to even uploading it to gmail.
