Same happened to me a few weeks ago, it's most definitely your ram.
Nope I screwed it all in correctly every standoff attached to the motherboard.
Sounds like you put them on top of your motherboard?
You didn't do that, did you? :ohdear:
Apparently your mobo has a small green LED that determines power.. make sure that's on.

as in on top of your motherboard? they go underneath, between the back of the mobo and the case

I did this, I aligned the motherboard with the case then got a small board pen and marked all of the holes that needed standoffs, I then screwed the standoffs into the holes in the case and then put the motherboard on top and screwed it in with the other screws provided with the case.
And if it's a ram problem why wouldn't anything appear on the screen?

It's on yes.
Still, easiest thing would be to get it to POST. I don't know how the hell you don't got a speaker, but just pick one up somewhere like eBay.
what is the model of your Motherboard / RAM?
because the same thing happened to me, make sure the RAM is firmly in place, and push it down both sides.
even though it may look alright, it sometimes does not reach all pins.
if your MB has memOK switch, press it.

Just test the ram already, the first reply was about the ram and you still haven't tested it. Just put one stick in a slot and see if anything happens.

I have tested the ram several times I have tried 1 stick. It doesn't work.

Have you tried the other stick?
Yes, I presume it is just faulty/incorrect ram.
Shall I change the ram at the store and see if it works?
Odds of both sticks being bad are a little high. Next step is to get the speaker. Don't post back until you have it and know what the beeps mean. We've created two pages of nothing.
My motherboard didn't come with a speaker but it came with the case so check around in your case stuff

My case didn't come with one but it came with a front panel connection which appears to fit a slot on the motherboard the slot is labelled "AAFP" and "SP_DIF".

Just read the motherboard instruction manual properly, it's tell you where to plug everything in and hopefully what it does
**** problems with pc ******
If you want to try to use the onboard graphics make sure you remove your graphics card, because if the mobo detects theres a graphics card in either slot it'll disable onboard graphics.
I fixed it now, there was numerous problems but it's all working now so I'm picking up a copy of Windows 7 tomorrow from novatech.
