The DELL cases that open like a sideways clamshell. They're a bitch-tit to work inside of. :suicide:
When cases have a removable part on the the motherboard tray that allows access to the back of the CPU to install brackets but doesn't actually grant access to all of it making it pointless. I'm looking at you HAF X.
My ThermalTake Element G has the same problem. I can get to all but one screw and the cooler bracket didn't fit through the hole anyways :frog: [editline]12th March 2011[/editline]
The DELL cases that open like a sideways clamshell.
Tool-less drive bays, half the time they don't secure very well, or i've just had bad luck with them
I just put screws in mine to be safe anyway. Defeats the purpose though.

Optical Media Drives. Always the first thing to break in a computer. I have this stupid DVD-RW drive that refuses to open unless it has a disc in it at all times. And the 'Push here to release' hole doesn't work either. Sometimes I forget to put another disc in after I take one out, so I have to sit there for twenty minutes trying to get the damn thing open. What have I done to deserve this. I didn't abuse the drive or anything, and now its giving me the cold shoulder. Fuck these things.
I have one under my bed and it opens like any other normal case.
Its only the pentium 4 ones it seams that did that. I have a gen 2 and its a bitch to open because it needs so much room to open and when you are closing it you have to make sure that that you are not going to pinch cables and you also need to make sure that its not bending the whole case and hitting it on stuff inside because its almost all plastic and part of the case slides under a fan. its the worst case I have ever seen! But I have a 630 and that case is pretty nice, but the mother board is mounted upside down for some unknown reason.

eSATA not being self-powered.
(Except in some rare, proprietary motherboards)
eSATA + USB aka eSATAp aka in most new motherboards Still kinda stupid that eSATA wasn't designed with 12v and 5v pins in the first place.
eSATA + USB aka eSATAp aka in most new motherboards Still kinda stupid that eSATA wasn't designed with 12v and 5v pins in the first place.
and a 3V pin even
and a 3V pin even
For what? If you need 3.3v just use a voltage regulator.
For what? If you need 3.3v just use a voltage regulator.
Theres a 3.3V pin on the standard SATA power, voltage regulator is commonly used though since MOLEX -> SATA adapters cant provide 3.3V Theres some drives that needs it though, it wouldent be any reason not to put it in

I've got batch files set up that can instantly recompile all my models. So all I have to do is edit the QC files (Notepad++ search/replace helps), and run one file. Yeah, a GUI wrapper would be nice, but not really necessary for me.
That's a stupid-looking keyboard design. :/
What's wrong with it? The shift-key doesn't take up half the keyboard, the enter key actually has some size, everything important is easily accessible (/, @, ' etc.), localized keys (Ä, Ö, Å) aren't in the way for when you're mostly typing in English, like me, but are there for when you need them. The alt-gr is a nice addition for special keys, I've always felt other layouts are missing out on that.

I use it as a server and was my ex-"gaming" machine. Quietest computer I've ever had though that actually has a CPU fan.
When I am playing a game [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/uhbRS.jpg[/img_thumb]
I reassigned the Windows key to be the scroll lock key. So it doesn't shut off my game AND I can bind stuff to it :3:
Theres some drives that needs it though, it wouldent be any reason not to put it in
They stopped using the 3.3V line, since many people are still using Molex adapters. corsair's molex plugs they are a BITCH to remove, and the plastic ribbons on them that are meant to help you un-plug them just snap plastic of the drive's molex port
Monitors that blink their lights when off I keep forgetting that and I have to wake up in the middle of night because its blinking for no reason.
One of the tabs in my case's USB ports just broke off. The microphone jack stopped working after a few weeks. I did build this in 2009, though it sure as hell better last longer than that. Damn you Cooler Master.
what the FUCK
I've had 2 or 3 of those, they really are a motherfucker to work with. There's also a very small, very hard to get at switch that wont let it boot with the case open and it's faulty as hell. Often bugging out even if the case is closed. Luckily you can unplug it
unlimited trials, trials you can just bypass e.g. Winrar, PowerAmp (reinstall, bam trial is reset) But I'm not complaining
antec 300 front headphone and mic plugs, they are a bit too deep in the panel so you can't fit shit in them

I have ones from the 80's that still work. It's in the last ten years they became cheap to make and their quality went down.
