God, motorola is dumb. First, they make the milestone with a qwerty, and a shitty D-pad, then they release the milestone 2.
What? Those are both great phones. What's wrong with QWERTY?
What? Those are both great phones. What's wrong with QWERTY?
Maybe he was complaining about how they got rid of the d-pad on the milestone 2? I honestly don't see the point of the d-pad, when you have a touchscreen...
Mouses without screws, nearly broke one trying to get the mousewheel to work again a few minutes ago.

They made a new phone, with minor adjustment. And the D-pad is just horrible. No one uses it.
That can be changed though.
After all, Windows are mostly used by retards who would NEVER update their computers themselves without being constantly reminded.
I DID FUCKING CHANGE IT. IT CHANGED BACK. IT SHOULDN'T DO THAT.
I presume there was an update to Windows Updates that reset my settings. And it pissed me off. Especially because the machine was in suspend mode, and shouldn't even have started up without me telling it to.
This is why whenever I buy a prebuilt, I immediately reinstall the OS.
...and their proprietary WebOSes and hidden "recovery" partitions. (I'm looking at YOU, HP!)

I love when Max Damage says things like "HOLY SHIIIIIT!", "Son-of-a-bitch!", and my personal favorite... "I'm comin' ta getcha!"
...all memorable moments in Carmageddon. XD
Oh, here's another thing to bitch about.
You know how in Win7 you can drag a window over to the side, and it'll take up half the screen? Rather useful for comparing data and stuff. You know what's used a lot for comparing data? Microsoft Excel.
However, you can't open two Excel windows and have them each on one half of the screen. No. Apparently, Excel is one program, and thus both windows are on the same half of the screen. Making it completely useless for eyeballing data between two spreadsheets.

Drag to opposite sides of the screen?
Unless you dual screen, then I get where you're coming from. It annoys me I can fill the half of either of my monitors which is closest to the other monitor.

No, it literally doesn't let you have both windows open at once. Seriously - try it.

I'm doing this on school computers. Besides, Excel is actually better for this task - it handles CSV files better.
And my home computer, which does have OO, is still on Vista, which doesn't have that. Not that I have the screen space to do it anyways.

your school gets to use windows 7?
:saddowns:
What idiot at Asus designed my motherboard, seriously. I use a 8800GTS as a physx slave and have had to move it down to the bottom slot (x8/x8 for some stupid reason, but that doesn't matter as it's only doing physx...) but all the useful front panel shit was in the way, so I had to unplug it all...

Windows 7, hell, we have access to practically every Microsoft OS. I could legally burn a disk of Server 2008.
The only stuff missing from our collection seems to be Bob, the various CE variants, and Windows HPC Server.
Ironically, most of the actual hardware is iMacs.

The point is it's nearly the same phone with better internals. Just because something looks the same doesn't mean it is.

Speaking of this, I hate it. It's such an awesome feature but it's useless with two monitors, I often want something side by side but my second monitor stops it from working properly.

What are you talking about? I just managed to do this now.
Each workbook is a different window, just drag them to different sides of the screen.

Odd. I tried for ~5 minutes doing exactly that, and it absolutely refused to do that.
works just fine for me, but excel looks disgusting with this theme.

It's because Excel uses the windows inside of a window thing. Click the maximise button on one spreadsheet and you have two spreadsheets open with one set of toolbars.
OK, apparently I'm doing something horribly wrong with Excel, then, if everyone else is able to do it so easily.

It's not on the school computers.
I've got it at home, sure, but I also don't have MS Office or Windows 7 at home.
Besides, it's a simple feature that should work easily. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work.
