i prefer these things over touchpads
You prefer an inaccurate input method that's basically moving your mouse with a joystick? IMO they are completely worthless.
laptop nipple, so underrated. Some were amazing, others ran my finger raw just because they were so god awful
Laptop nipple? I have learn a new phrase to use.
All great and dandy until the laptop clitoris breaks....

when you end up having to use one for school (school issued crappy thinkpads) you become quite good at using them

hovertext- [sp]I know a lot of people hate these, but I prefer them to touchpads[/sp]
I was actually quite good with the nipple, preferred it to touchpads back when these were prevalent.
Why did they have to take out the damn nipplemouse?!
Touchpads are annoying pieces of shit.
I really like mine, and I'm now addicted to multi touch scrolling.

i prefer a pointer stick to a retarded touchpad
less overall movement, highly unlikely to move the cursor when typing (as opposed to the touchpad), smoother cursor movement

Less accurate by a long shot.

There is clit mouse too :v:
FUCKING NINJA'D

Only if you aren't good at it. If you get real good at it you can stop it and turn it on a dime anywhere on screen at any distance.
Fuck, I personally bet I would have kicked ass with a nipplemouse in Quake 3 or something back in the day (never tried that, my laptop wasn't the best)

Quite honestly, if you could kick ass with a nipple mouse, well, fuck, I can honestly say that takes real skill right there.
I've only ever used a "nipple mouse" once...
And that was on an old as hell Windows 95 Toshiba Satellite... :v:

As much as I hate these little fuckers, they were easy to replace just using a standard pencil eraser.

Track points nipples are awesome. For general laptop use, kicks the trackpad in the ass.
How do you hit the trackpad while you typing? I've always found it really hard to do.
Some people have larger hands, and the palm of my hand rests right where the trackpad is on most laptops. I've managed to do a lot of things by accidentally clicking the mouse while typing.
Also, don't look up 'clit mouse' in google images.
I've got a netbook and the trackpad is the exact same texture as the rest of the surface by it. There's only a faint bump between the two areas, so I constantly hit it with my palm when typing something. Annoying as all hell.

Oh shit, now reverse psychology is kicking in...

Meh, just a bunch of sexual-looking computer mice, the occasional vagina and an actual rat eating a carrot or something.
It's not like someone told me to search for one of these...

(don't) google it.
I know what it is. I was being a smart ass.
Windows update when it forces you to reboot in 15 minutes and the postpone button is grayed out, and you're in school trying to use the computer for work/notes/"work". Then half the time, the speakers are still on, so it has to make the standard Windows noises when you log on (while everyone is being quiet), unless you have some earbuds to plug in. Linux at least leaves me alone, and depending on what is being updated, most of the time I don't have to reboot, and if I do, it can wait.
Whoever is in charge of the filters didn't do a very good job.

Arrive to class before everyone else, everyone arrives and turns on their laptops the sounds of windows starting up over and over for next 10 mins.
In The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask there is a cut-scene someplace in the first area that has one text box you have to press to make the next one show up. The only time in the game you have to do that in a cut-scene. The nerve of Nintendo.
Every damn program asking you to restart when you don't need to.
Then of course this happens:

What the hell...
Of course I'm using a school computer and don't have permissions, but I want to run down whoever decided that when something isn't working right on my computer at home that I need to "contact the system administrator" I AM the system admin, what is wrong with people? And why do I need permissions to update Firefox anyway? I mean it's already installed.

You don't want your hardware to run cooler?
You don't want your hardware to run cooler?
Everything connected to my computer except the speakers have blue leds. Also my power supply and 2 case fans.
