CD's are digital too though.
Yeah, I know. I was trying to convey the fact that I don't use CDs or DVDs anymore through a simple word, but it certainly wasn't the right one to pick. I'll be sure to find a better phrasing for my poses in the future, believe me.
I only have one drive, but for some reason Windows shows a Floppy drive as well but I don't even have one.

Disable it in the BIOS.

"I don't use physical media anymore."
Would that do?

Never. I use USB storage devices.
I do. They were thinking "hey, we didn't exactly sell well last time, because our game would only run on like two computers, and all these consolefags are dumb enough to buy our game anyways, and their money is as good as anyones"
but the thing is, crysis sold exceptionally well for a PC game. It's a pretty small amount compared to console sales, but it's enough to be a sizeable portion of the audience.

The it would be 'I don't use optical media anymore'.

I open it, select a song, it plays. What's more functional than that?
I open it, select a song, it plays. What's more functional than that?
I open it, wait for it to convert the song, wait for it to become responsive again after 10 minutes of slowness, select the song, play it
[editline]26th March 2011[/editline]
So yeah I'd rather use something that actually can play most formats and is actually usable

And takes up less than 50MB of my harddrive
Security Torx
or just Torx in general
torx is fine
torx screwdrivers that dont have a hole in them for security torx however...
Whatever it is in Windows 7 that makes the CD/DVD drive spin up at full speed any time Windows Explorer is opened for any reason or length of time.
Dammit windows I want to download a file why are you checking the CD drive
Do you think I am going to download it into my Morrowind CD that's impossible FUCKING STOP THAT LOUD SHIT
It spins for several minutes or until I rage and take the CD out.
It's not windows, You've got a Samsung DVD drive with stupid firmware. look for the TSST Corp firmware update for your drive.
Probably late but has anyone mentioned Netbook keyboards?
My netbook's keyboard is designed so that every key is a different size. I have no clue why, but 1 is 2cm wide, ~ is 1cm wide, and 2 is 4cm wide. It varies like that through the entire keyboard, and everything is positioned like somebody took all the keys off and decided to place them in random places.
Oh what's even worse is the function keys, you have to hold down FN to use. I have never used a laptop before where I had to hold down FN and F5 to refresh a page. If I just press F5 the damn thing shuts down. Pretty convenient when you press it by accident while typing a paper.
Oh by the way, the keyboard is the only thing I dislike about this netbook besides the GPU, and that doesn't even matter much.
What kinda fucked up keyboard is that?
My Asus Eee PC is just fine, and I'm using it right now.

It's on an HP Mini, I don't know the model though.

Itunes runs fine for me. I also like the consolidate library function. And the library file itself even works across multiple computers if you make sure the path stays the same. (and thus all playlists also stay intact)

I can't hear my CD drive spinning, my HD4870's fan already makes enough noise to make someone deaf :frog:
[editline]26th March 2011[/editline]
Which reminds me of the asshole who made the fan profiles for this thing.
It starts at 60% instead of the usual 30% :froggonk:
I just eject the disc, flip it over, and put it back in. Windows only checks for a disc, can't detect shit, and gives up once.

Hmmm... I can only think of two possible reasons for this.
1. You're try to fuck children.
2. You're try to have anal sex with other men.
You're a sick fuck.

The 6.3 to 3.5mm adapter on my Sennheiser HD555's really gets on my nerves sometimes.

iTunes has the worst method of adding content to your PMP known to man. It's slow as shit, bloated as fuck and likes to establish labyrinthine directory structures all across your hard dive filled with useless shit, being bout as compact as a fat man on an aeroplane. It peddles apple software constantly, when that software is utterly redundant and obsolete compared to free alternatives. It readily deletes songs and apps from your iDevice without a moment's thought, and if you don't have a copy of those apps? Tough, you can't redownload it without buying it again. iTunes is Apple's greatest achievement, something which actively enforces their proprietary bullshit so no matter where you are, whenever you want to buy apps or music from someone you're giving money to them.

It's literally never done that for me
I open it, select a song, it plays. What's more functional than that?
Y'know what's functional? I double click an MP3, and it opens in media player classic/wmp/vlc and starts plying immediately.
Y'know what's functional? I plug a non-apple device into my PC, drag and drop some files onto it and open/play them with the device.
Apple are masters at getting people to jump through hoops for their benefit. It's a horrible user experience and yet seems to be a pillar of their philosophy. Such a shame because the devices themselves are lovely and the OS is slick, just that Apple's desktop programming team obviously has no idea what they're doing.

Download it through your iPod. After you hit "Buy Now" it will be like "Oh, you already bought this, I won't charge you again."
iTunes actually charged me twice though.
Standard keyboard:

It is much more comfortable.
