I hate how it's impossible to loosen with your fingers. And you can't get a screwdriver in there without it being angled which is a pain in the ass.
Oh god this, I deal with these pretty often and am always amazed at how such a simple adaptor can be so badly designed, and one of the screws is always really stiff and refuses to go in at all.
But the 5750 bothers me.
It was £50 i couldn't resist.
50 pounds, they cost at least 70 on scan.
that would probably be the reason he got it

I don't even bother screwing them in. Its not like my PC is bouncing around so it can jiggle out.

A minor annoyance: laptop display ports that don't have screw holes. I don't need those holes on my desktop (its pretty stationary) but on my laptop they sure would come in handy...
That, or a connector held in by friction (HDMI/DP/etc.)
Major annoyance that I want to strangle the creator: M86 Security is some of the WORST software I've seen. Blocks internet access if it crashes, works worse than the hosts file, and causes IE to not load pages every 5 minutes.
Keyboards, why can't they all be the same :saddowns:
It took me a month to get used to my new desktop keyboard.
I don't get why people have to 'get used' to a new keyboard. I go from one to another regularly, on different computers and such, and never have any issue 'getting used' to it. I've gone from retro dummy terminals to netbooks.
Why the LCD interface for the keyboard? One could just as easily view the system time by checking the bottom right-hand side of the screen/some desktop time/info widget.
I don't think I'd live without my LCD. Media information, Cpu and mem usage, game info, email notifier, etc. It's actually useful.

you know that you can unplug them and get a new one?? WOaH AMazing!
I regularly switch between my laptops' full keyboard and trackpad (sometimes flick it with my thumb instead of reaching for the mouse), the school's Mac keyboards, the school's Dell/Microsoft keyboards, and an ancient cheap crap keyboard on my secondary computer. I have almost no trouble with it - I don't even mix up the Command and Alt keys on the Mac board. Only difficulty I have is typing on the Mac board one-handed or at an angle.

Wow, don't have any spare ones to get and I'm used to compact laptop keyboards.

There's nice compact keyboards for sale, too. A keyboard's like one of hte most important things for a PC imo and yet it's always overlooked.
Making the god damn crouch key C.
I know sombody already mentioned it, but it grinds my gears that iphones and ipads have so much storage space, yet we can't use them as giant usb flash drives.

No kidding... it's NOWHERE NEAR the arrow keys. Right Ctrl is where it needs to be.

What kind of shitty game doesn't let you rebind keys?

I can use any other laptop keyboard, but as soon as I use a Dell one, it goes something like sp,tjung luje riis gieeg. Typos everywhere.
Games that assume every mouse nowadays has a mouse wheel, and won't let you rebind the controls to something else.
Even worse are the people arguing "but which mouse nowadays doesn't lol buy a normal mouse idiot". These piss me off so fucking much.

I dont know of ANY mouse that doesnt have a scroll wheel. Even a mac has a ball.

You're EXACTLY what I was talking about. Why the fuck can't you understand that for some reason some people don't have mice with wheels yet?
My mouse is one I took from my school, and by now, the mouse wheel is broken, so I can't use it.
But it shouldn't matter why I don't have a mouse wheel, not letting you rebind from it is a fucking ASSHOLE move.
EDIT: JESUS, you people piss me off for some reason.

Pretty sure I just stated that every single mouse I've seen since I first used a computer has had a mouse wheel. Not "You suck buy a better mouse faggot"
Calm the fuck down.

Pretty sure you never used a computer prior to 2000, then. Hell, or even 2005. And, again, for whatever reason, the wheel could be broken/not useable, etc.

I started with a windows 98 computer I found in the dump around 2003 and a hand mouse. Even that had a scroll wheel. You're pretty full of yourself to assume I am around the age of twelve.
The future of technology is the biggest asshole design move. Don't get me wrong, I love technology and I love all the cool new shit that we have these days.
HOWEVER, I'd much rather go back to a time where people walked down the street without checking their iPhone or cellphone every two seconds. Back when writing something like "omg u guys chk dis funny pic i jst got! ROFL!" was perfectly acceptable. Back when the quality of simple programs were that much better because everything needed so much skill to create.

Yeah, I think the reason you don't have a good mouse is because you took it from your school? I don't think I've ever seen a non-mac mouse without a wheel.
Just buy a decent mouse. I don't think there's a reason against it. The only argument against it is the same argument that they should design Crysis to run on ME as well as everything newer, because you're still using it.
Not letting people rebind Mousewheel bindings is a dick move because of various reasons, but not because they should be programming the game for a nearly non-existent minority
Is this your mouse frznybxys?

Yeah, I didn't mean to sound like I think like that. It's an asshole move nonetheless, and they should definitely implement a rebind option.
Can we all be friends again now? :unsmith:
