This is definitely what you should do and not the other thing.
Games that assume every mouse nowadays has a mouse wheel, and won't let you rebind the controls to something else.
Even worse are the people arguing "but which mouse nowadays doesn't lol buy a normal mouse idiot". These piss me off so fucking much.
I'll agree with this because I have the same problem with my mouse in many games.
I have a scroll on my mouse, and it is usable. However this stupid thing does for some reason not work when mouse 2 is held down, probably because it pushes down and holds the mousewheel in place. This makes it absolutely impossible use the the "zoom in" function on weapons that require you to hold down M2 while using the scroll.
So when games don't allow me to assign the scrolling functions to other buttons, that is an extreme annoyance to me.

No kidding... it's NOWHERE NEAR the arrow keys. Right Ctrl is where it needs to be.

The playstation controller, it always give my left thumb blisters when I play a fighting/racing game and it gets intense.

My only problem with the PS controller (aside from being too small for my bear hands) is that the stick covering starts to peel away after a few months of use
My friend just brought me three PS2 controllers from the US though, so I won't run out anytime soon.

I've had a PS3 for about a year and both controllers are pristine. Maybe you should stop rubbing it and keep your thumb in place.

This isn't really to do with Hardware or Software, but perhaps the worst design move in human history was to use clean drinking water to flush toilets. It's so wasteful.

If it was dirty water, bacteria would collect on the toilet bowl and in the pipes a lot faster causing damage and loss of money to replace all of it.

So you want 2 pipesystems in the ground to supply houses with water??
One with pure water, and one with toilet water??

Some city's have that.
And some people here use rain water to flush.
well after the mouse wheel drama i gotta say
my mouse wheel is broken

Mine spazzes out sometimes, just resting my finger on it and twitching will make it scroll down about 7 notches.
I've heard of a lot of problems with some Steel Series mice where the mouse wheel presses in wile pressing the right button.
I've had a PS3 for about a year and both controllers are pristine. Maybe you should stop rubbing it and keep your thumb in place.
Well to be honest I don't know about PS3 controllers and if they changed the material, but with PS2 controllers I've had three become unusable already.

I have this problem with my Logitech MX500. It's a lot easier to click the mouse wheel to the left than it is right, which results in the occasional click when I scroll.
Easy enough to fix, though. I just disabled that button in the macro manager.

It's not like we're removing the clean water from existence, it just filters back through the ground.
[editline]31st March 2011[/editline]
If there's a place with a shortage of clean water, or is prone to droughts, or something like that, I can see how it would be useful, though.
[img_thumb]http://www.cherry.de/deutsch/produkte/images/WheelMouse_Optical_Versions_468.jpg[/img_thumb]
The middle one. And like I said, the wheel's just broken :P
Yeah, I didn't mean to sound like I think like that. It's an asshole move nonetheless, and they should definitely implement a rebind option.
Can we all be friends again now? :unsmith:
Here, less than 10 bucks, and it ain't horrible.

Also, my logitech mouse puts a search button, right next to the right mouse button. It's easy to hit by accident, and seems to be really sensitive, you click it, boom, it instantly closes any fullscreen applications and opens the window search window. It was fucking annoying on my old computer, as the computer was old, and would crash while trying to do this.
Also, I find magazines without a book style binding annoying, as you can't tell what they are when they are on the shelves in a book case surrounded with other magazines .
I thought just the word "Rizzo" was given to him when he's banned.
yeah that's why I'm not sure
I mean, it looks like it since he's got a pretty effeminate name and Rizzo's a cross dressing faggot, not to mention he's posting as normal in a 'post your' type thread in H&S despite being the alt of a permabanned user, which seems like the kind of thing Rizzo would do. Not that it matters, I'm still reeling from the fact that most people believed pixel heart was a girl for ages, most notably (and hilariously) fpjte.
mouses that click just from the weight of my finger resting on it
I'm guessing this is rizzo
Yeah that was Rizzo. He'll be back under another ~inconspicuous~~~ account name in a few hours I expect. Probably pretending to be female in some way as usual.
We're off to hunt the Rizzo, the freaky Rizzo of FP! (Okay that didn't rhyme quite well enough)
Computer desks you have to put together without pre-threaded screw holes. :argh:
Scart sockets. They must be one of the most fiddly connections to put together blindly (Reaching around the back of a TV/VCR/DVD player etc).

The basic idea behind them is brilliant.
Just a shame it was badly executed.
It looks like it should fit right in but somehow it's impossible to do it unless you see the socket
We don't have Scart in America... what is it?
