Another thing that really bothers me is how much broken electronic equipment we throw away, most of this stuff such as TV's, computers, game consoles, etc can easily be repaired by someone who knows what they are doing.
I've repaired dozens of things which would have rapidly made their way to the rubbish heap, not to mention the fact that most things these days are not built to last pretty much on purpose.
defraggler taking like 4 hours to defragment 16% what are you doing

Masturbating to your porn mayhaps?
FYI I'm the type that doesn't mind commercials, ads, etc, I leave them all unblocked, but when you have an advert on Youtube that's somehow twice the volume of videos it's very annoying and I now have a small headache.
The fact that CCleaner doesn't have an auto update feature. If you're going to release an update every fucking hour at least make an auto updater. Jesus Christ.

that's called a slow hard drive my friend
Many things annoy me such as:
My pair of headphones
Some idiot designer living in Taiwan decides to route one of the speaker wires out of the hole where the speaker is connected, long story short it wears away, good thing I can solder.
Batteries
Many things eat through batteries like mad, I'm sure it is done on purpose since designers can't be THAT bad, can they ?
DSL/ADSL Internet Service Providers
That force you to use their shitty cheap brand router and refuse to even give you the username / password. Sky for example.
DRM
I doubt I need to even say anything about this.
Web Advertising
I really really really hate adverts, not only do they waste my time (I never buy their shit) they also waste my bandwidth, at least we have adblock and flashblock.

What would you rather have:
Your favorite websites doing well, staying up, no issues WITH ads.
Your favorite sites down, not able to support themselves WITHOUT ads.

Ohboy Pay-per-view websites :haw:

But I think I corrupted the onboard ROM (or whatever TVs store settings in). It would not let me turn off closed captioning after I accidentally made the TV crash. Yes, I somehow managed to crash a TV.

caviar drive from 2004 lol
Shell-integrated software that really doesn't need to be (or that doesn't have the option to remove it). I'm seriously considering only installing portable software on my next computer just so that I don't have to wait 10 seconds every time I right-click on a file.
How about those paper-thin Java jackets? I loved the thicker ones. I know everyone's trying to cut back on wasting resources, but my coffee still burns my hands with just one jacket on my cup. Steal some starbucks jackets.
Those things are fucking thick.

I'm fine with it as long as adblock and flashblock take care of them, it's the ones that get through that really annoy me.
Besides adverts are far from the best way to earn revenue considering many people block adverts and like me refuse to click.

But you're a computer literate minority.
The majority clicks anything shiny and appealing to them, so ad's are actually a good business :eng101:
Besides addons like AdBlock+ is a town in Russia to them.
doubting you've typed 150+ 100% accurately
Really? That hurts my feelings... Not really though.
I have been typing on a computer for 2 decades now, that probably means I've been typing on a computer longer than you have been using them.
You would be surprised what kind of speed and accuracy you can accomplish with typing that much.

Well, try playing typeracer, I can understand if that was the best you've ever done, but I highly doubt 150 is your average.

150 was my average. I no longer spend ages on my computer anymore, I enjoy doing other things such as being outside and working on other things. My average now is probably 110+ now.

I did a couple rounds of that, got an average of 85 on a HP mini 5102 keyboard.
I also found I don't so much touch type, as muscle-memory type. If I've haven't typed a word a whole bunch of times, I've no idea how to input it into the keyboard (comparatively speaking).
Anyone else experience this?
