[img_thumb]http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5129/5246229049_207d5538dc.jpg[/img_thumb] That infernal bump!
Why would he sandpaper his that desperate?
Jesus christ typos. At least I didn't a whole word.
[img_thumb]http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5129/5246229049_207d5538dc.jpg[/img_thumb] That infernal bump! Now that someone mentioned it to me it's going to bother me for the rest of my life. :argh:
What, why would you want to remove that?! Unless you're looking at your keyboard while typing, that lil' bump is the most amazing feature on a keyboard :colbert:
Can we go back to cats, we related so much better :3:
What, why would you want to remove that?! Unless you're looking at your keyboard while typing, that lil' bump is the most amazing feature on a keyboard :colbert:
I hunt and peck with only 2 fingers, and I look at the keyboard while typing... but I can type over 46WPM with 96% accuracy, says that Mavis Beacon cunt. (You know, the black lady they slowly turned hispanic with every subsequent version)
So, you want the biggest asshole design move, eh? You have to fucking restart the machine to join/leave a domain in Windows. Why the fuck
I hate Windows for shit like that. I mean, it's like you always have to restart to do shit. [editline]11th April 2011[/editline] On the topic of restarting all the time, why can't it restart the OS without POSTing again and shit? I actually think i once saw a distro with a "quick reboot" feature where it didn't restart the entire computer. That should be a standard feature on all OSes.
...Or better yet, why aren't there third-party apps to fake a restart by logging out, then back in?
Because it's fairly simple to press the log out button.
So, you want the biggest asshole design move, eh? You have to fucking restart the machine to join/leave a domain in Windows. Why the fuck
Because GPOs are applied as part of the boot process, and security tokens at login, probably.
Because GPOs are applied as part of the boot process, and security tokens at login, probably.
It's still a dick move.
Backlit keys are nice at night. I type normally (what people call touch typing, but seriously... that's how you are supposed to type so any other form of typing should be given the new name) and backlit keys are nice. Backlit keys on my laptop are extremely nice since some keys have multiple functions and at night it is easy to find where certain functions are on the keyboard.
I'm talking about the Razer Lycosa. Bright Blue LED that burns your eyes out.
It's still a dick move.
Well, hopefully, you shouldn't need to change workgroups/domains very often.
So, you want the biggest asshole design move, eh? You have to fucking restart the machine to join/leave a domain in Windows. Why the fuck
I tend to send the computer into Hibernate then back into normal. doesn't work for everything but it works for most things.
I tend to send the computer into Hibernate then back into normal. doesn't work for everything but it works for most things.
Doesn't work with leaving and joining a domain. Also, I just discovered one of the biggest asshole moves ever. If you use Hyper-V Manager over Remote Desktop, it can't hook the mouse because you're using it over a Remote Desktop session. So you go and install Hyper-V Manager on your machine (can't have Service Pack installed to be able to install it, so you have to uninstall SP1, install the fucking thing and reinstall SP1). And then. You have to be logged on as a fucking domain user to connect with the damn thing. If you try to use it as a local user from a computer that's not on the domain, it just goes derp.
Gimp devs. Seriously, Gimp 2.8 was supposed to be released on December 27th, 2010... Where is it now? Not released yet. :/
Gimp devs. Seriously, Gimp 2.8 was supposed to be released on December 27th, 2010... Where is it now? Not released yet. :/
And here I'm sitting and still using Gimp 2.6 :downs:
And here I'm sitting and still using Gimp 2.6 :downs:
Gimp 2.6 doesn't have single-window mode, which is what I'm waiting for. The 2.7.3 dev snapshot is a bit unstable, and doesn't open in single window mode... ever.
[img_thumb]http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5129/5246229049_207d5538dc.jpg[/img_thumb] That infernal bump! That's kinda the point. /2 days late
Why would you want a single window mode, multiple windows is superior, which macs get with Photoshop, but windows doesn't.
I can't stand multiple windows when trying to work in a photo project... I'm a Photoshop user in Windows going to Gimp in Linux, so I'm sure you can see why I'm opposed to it.
Why would you want a single window mode, multiple windows is superior, which macs get with Photoshop, but windows doesn't.
How is it superior? It just serves to be distracting with the shit behind it showing through the gaps. Photoshop basically has it but in a far superior way, having the Windows moveable inside of the main window.

I would rather if you could "dock" the windows so when you move the main window, the others move with it.
Why would you want a single window mode, multiple windows is superior, which macs get with Photoshop, but windows doesn't.
That's just a transparent background. Press F to cycle through different types
