Fine, can't get 7 until I upgrade my damn processor :smith:
Steam not giving me an option to disable pausing downloads when I start a game.

You must be doing something horribly wrong to reformat every 2 or so months. There is no reason to do it that often (unless you really love than new OS smell). Plus a 10 minute check won't find the deeply rooted nasties :v:

Personally, I love the new OS smell :v:
It's just so... fast. Defrag doesn't even come close to it.

Alt tab out and the download will say suspended, but if you hit pause then resume it'll download while you're ingame
Alt tab out and the download will say suspended, but if you hit pause then resume it'll download while you're ingame
I know that. It's annoying to alt-tab out most of the time, even if it is a minor quibble.
Cell phones becoming portable computers... I personally hate the fact that they're merging phones with laptops to create smartphones. Last time I checked, a phone was invented to call people, not send homosexual "tweets" to your homosexual friends. :|
I neither have Facebook or Twitter installed on my android phone, I use it as an access point media player and light games console. Oh and lets not forget, I use it as a phone aswell *GASP*
Also, was there any need to be homophobic? you're not very mature if you still refer to things as 'gay'.
Also video game related. Games that crash or become REALLY slow when you alt-tab out (or back in). Games that don't quit (whether directly or through a "Do you want to quit?" message I don't care) when you press Alt+F4.
But above all, games that, when frozen, take down your whole PC, because Ctrl+Alt+Delete nor anything else will respond or work, or when it does, you can't see or use it. It doesn't happen that often (anymore), but when it does... Shit infuriates me.
PC manufacturers not adding an OS installation disc

Most manufacturers give them with the software. Dell and Acer do at least.
Retail stores remove them though, they want to to pay them if you want to format. My uncle got a box of Windows 98 CDs they had kept, hundreds of CDs :buddy:

Battlefield 2 loves doing that when it crashes. It intercepts keyboard commands so I can't control my media player using global hotkeys while playing. So annoying.

Weird, I play BF2 constantly, and I can still use my media player keys to do stuff.
It's also great for ragequitting - Alt-F4 shuts it down in milliseconds.

Which brings me to the next one:
the recovery partition that not only recovers your OS, but also all the fucking bloatware that came with it when you just bought the thing.

This is why I just wipe out all partitions with Gparted when I get the machine home, and Install my own OS and programs. Recovery partitions are for pussies.

I just want to know why Google has that ad, and how to get to the image i clicked on, and how to block that spammy ad spam from popping up in their image search. (I use AdBlock Plus for Chrome.)

It's not Google popping up that ad, it's the site the image is being shown on.

Does anyone else do it where you disable something, it greys out a lot of other options, and then you go back to disable the greyed out stuff?

Though despite that it's still a Godsend in it's own right.
My netbook doesn't have a CD drive, we don't have an external one OR a Windows CD. But it needed formatted because I broke the boot manager and destroyed over half of Windows anyways trying to install Linux on a separate partition.
That recovery partition saved my ass.
The bloatware I usually ignore unless they pop up in my face and annoy me. Which is mostly all of them.
I like the way Asus does it. They have a recovery partition, and a CD. Both of them will default to re-installing all the bloatware. The CD, though, lets you choose to install without a recovery partition (giving you 20gb more space), and also lets you pick and choose what stuff to install. Kinda necessary, since Windows doesn't have default drivers for the wifi card, meaning you can't download the other drivers you need.
Start up Just Cause 2, get in game, start walking.
