-snipping for you-
oh yes, let's go ahead and start another mac v pc war. Might want to snip your post, mate. Anyway, have some content.
You are obviously very misinformed... That is expected I suppose... You are probably like 12. Mac's can right click. Infact, other than gaming (which the gap is quickly closing in) anything you can do on Windows, I can do better on Mac. I would suggest you snip your post
I don't mind you sticking up for Mac since they are just a personal choice. But don't say ignorant things saying what you can do on Windows you can do better on a Mac... I can run a proton NMR and get a print out of a list of peaks on my Windows machine and interpret what molecule is in the machine by determining how many carbon and hydrogen environments and a lot of other information obtained by running various scans... You telling me you can do that better on a Mac? I bet you wouldn't even be able to do that on a windows PC. So, either defend your mac without insulting people or don't open your mouth. We don't need flame wars going on about trivial shit.
can't disagree more, why would a mac v/s pc fight be nice to watch?
Because it means loads of CIPWTTKT content.
IF you got a mac, that's fine, don't go telling a forum full of people that a mac is better because you have one, if you like it good for you. We won't go telling you that Windows or anything else is better, and we would like you to not try to tell everyone here why your choice is better by starting a flame war, if we wanted to make that choice we would have, but we didn't so everyone be happy with your choice quietly please.

Eat it :snoop:
USB ports seem to be designed in such a way that whenever you want to plug something into them, you invariably have the connector held the wrong way.
I spend forever trying to figure out which side goes up, even in a computer I've used the stick in hundreds of times. It makes me feel all stupid :saddowns:
happends to mee too ... a whole lot.. :D

That's pretty awesome. :v: But seriously, I used to work with those machines. Everytime it sucked in a vial, it scared the shit out of me, because it sounded like one of the liquid nitrogen tubes had popped loose. Also, you had to screw the tubes back on with a wrench, but the magnet inside the NMR was so strong that it would yank the wrench right out of your hand if you forgot to turn it off first. Forgetting to take your keys out of your pockets before you loaded the cardridge also was a barrel of laughs... for colleges watching you trying to wriggle yourself loose of the damn thing, that is. Talk about asshole design.
And your refresh rate is what? I doubt its over 90Hz.
Refresh rate has nothing to do with the FPS you are able to see. [editline]26th April 2011[/editline]
[img_thumb]http://osxdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/can-your-mac-do-this.jpg[/img_thumb] Also, enjoy your shitty UI.
Cmon peeps, this is Fatal-error, known troll and 12 year old, lets just ignore him. fake [editline]26th April 2011[/editline] Ok crapload of dumbs, so let me explain: 140 fps can be shown on a 60 herts monitor but you will encounter tearing (the frame being updated while the screen hasnt finished his refresh cycle yet.) Vice versa your screen wil draw the same image twice every cycle if your FPS is 30 on a 60 hertz monitor.
A good example of an asshole design move: Nikon and their AC adapters. So I have my D3100, I thought that it would be useful to have an AC adapter for my camera for timelapses or something. I check Nikon's website and I need the EH-5A AC adapter, which goes for about $40-75 (Depends if you get an off-brand one from eBay or a genuine Nikon adapter). But wait, that's not all! I also need the EP-5A adapter which fits into my camera's battery bay and attaches to the EH-5A, that goes for about $35-40... So in order to connect my camera to mains power, I need to pay about $75-110. I'm tempted to buy a cheap battery, take the voltage readings and find the correct wall wart for it. That's assuming there isn't some sort of bizarre chip in the battery...
Canon has the same thing. €70 to plug it into the wall, what the fuck, Canon
...Fuck Feel it was more because it was made in china or somewhere like that but still.
Refresh rate has nothing to do with the FPS you are able to see.
Are you dumb or just misinformed? If your monitor only refreshes 60 times a second, whatever framerate your graphics card is shoving out will not matter if its above 60 FPS.

Talk about asshole design.
I always load with keys in my pocket. Cell phone in my pocket, and magnetic strip cards in my pocket. I don't load it when it is currently running though, usually. But hell, not really an asshole design move, it's hard to design something to prevent a super cooled electromagnet from destroying shit in your pockets.
[img_thumb]http://osxdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/can-your-mac-do-this.jpg[/img_thumb] Also, enjoy your shitty UI.
Reminds me of Solitaire on windows 3.11. When you complete it, the cards does something similar to that.
does that in xp as well
[img_thumb]http://osxdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/can-your-mac-do-this.jpg[/img_thumb] Also, enjoy your shitty UI.
Oh man I loved doing that on my old Gateway craptop... Thanks for the terrible yet fun memories.
Are you dumb or just misinformed? If your monitor only refreshes 60 times a second, whatever framerate your graphics card is shoving out will not matter if its above 60 FPS.
But having "extra" FPS ensures that even if you get a framerate dip it won't affect your actual framerate.
But having "extra" FPS ensures that even if you get a framerate dip it won't affect your actual framerate.
But display-wise, it doesn't make a difference. That's what he is saying.
But having "extra" FPS ensures that even if you get a framerate dip it won't affect your actual framerate.
Right... but a dip from 90 to 60 on a monitor that refreshes 60 times a second, you won't notice anything. Actually, you will... The image will be better since there would be less tearing.
Right... but a dip from 90 to 60 on a monitor that refreshes 60 times a second, you won't notice anything. Actually, you will... The image will be better since there would be less tearing.
That's the point. If it was running at 60FPS (no, not limited via a frame-limiter of V-sync) it would have dropped to the 40's and that's noticeable. And I've never gotten picture tearing when I've had very high FPS.
USB ports seem to be designed in such a way that whenever you want to plug something into them, you invariably have the connector held the wrong way.
Magical.
anything you can do on Windows, I can do better on Mac
[citation needed]
I hate how in Steam when you're verifying game cache files, you can't do anything else with the program.
Are you dumb or just misinformed? If your monitor only refreshes 60 times a second, whatever framerate your graphics card is shoving out will not matter if its above 60 FPS.
No, but the higher the framerate the more updates per second.
I hate those shitty usb cords that come with iPods.... 2 weeks after using it it gets ripped and shocks you when you touch it...
That's the point. If it was running at 60FPS (no, not limited via a frame-limiter of V-sync) it would have dropped to the 40's and that's noticeable. And I've never gotten picture tearing when I've had very high FPS.
It depends on how high. If your getting like 180+ fps, or the picture isn't changing very fast, its not terribly noticeable. But if you going like 70-90 fps, it becomes noticeable sometimes, like if you quickly turn around in a FPS game for example.
