I am calling bullshit. If it doesn't matter which way you put the wires and metal contacts then why still do it? You might even require less length of wire. [editline]11th March 2011[/editline] Non compatible charge cables for nintendo handhelds.
They could add 8 more diodes to the circuit board for that, it'd cost them like $1 more, and it wouldent improve sales at all In the view of the company its a waste of $1 per product (since if they sell 1 million a year they lost a million on that) EDIT
Yes but if you can choose how to put them in, why not make it so it's easier to do?
They cant, you posted a picture of a general thing, with the normal way of batteries, then a picture of a battery charger, where the batteries NEEDS to be like that, since they dont need them serially anyways (they need the contacts from every battery to charge them, not two from all the batteries to together), most other devices do
There's no reason to have it like that. On many toys you can swap out the + and - and fix it yourself. It's just a matter if design, not restriction. I've seen plenty people struggling with finding out how to put the batteries in. I even found out the tv remote was not working because my dad put the batteries in wrong. When i put batteries in my magic mouse i didn't even have to think how to put them in. It was completely obvious.
Is it really that fucking difficult to put batteries in something?
Also I hate that EVERYTHING has bright blue lights in it.
this is like the most asshole thing ever, really really bright blue led pointing right at your eyes, in the front speaker. Watching movies with lights off was literally impossible without taping this shit
that's just the standard US layout
I really can't type with keyboards that have the enter key that small. I always end up backspacing everything. :frown:
Fuck that, I loved the sound quality of my JVC Marshmallows (With the Kramer mod). They would last me at least a year, though began falling apart at the jack. The plastic housing was kinda shitty too. Then I looked on newegg and found the Meelectronics M9P. These headphones are pretty durable and have good strain reliefs: [img_thumb]http://bj0.org/pictures/m9p.PNG[/img_thumb] The earbud housings are made of metal. I don't think I've seen that at the $25 price point...
I need those! thats the problems I have with my marshmallows. They are nice and all but break all the time because they get caught on my desk, chair and whatever else is around.
pre micro-usb chargers, good thing i have a dhd with micro usb now! [editline]11th March 2011[/editline] so fucking annoying on dhd [img_thumb]http://cdn5.fonearena.com/desirehd/htc-desire-hd-01_1.jpg[/img_thumb] try holding it landscape without pressing anything
That's one nice thing about my Eris. Capacitive buttons, but the send, end, and scroll wheel are physical so they give you some space to be able to grip it in landscape. [img_thumb]http://lh6.ggpht.com/_pJ-mgoe-Tn4/S6WFSuFaQYI/AAAAAAAAAVU/Yq2Iqd8UJ7M/how-to-root-htc-droid-eris[23].jpg[/img_thumb] That's the downside of them getting rid of physical controls. Also, on topic: Mass storage on the Xbox 360. You can't use NTFS formatted drives. Yeah, most people use FAT32 for external hard drives, but Microsoft didn't even add support for their own file system?
This BULLSHIT: [img_thumb]http://cdn.solidfiles.net/i/570c.jpg[/img_thumb] Applies to any modern keyboard maker, not just Logitech
That is one ugly keyboard
The "minimize" button on certain mouses. I hate it when I accidentally clicks it on my G500, ending up minimizing the game when I am in the middle of a combat with several enemies in front of me
[img_thumb]http://puu.sh/1bsy[/img_thumb] Get one. Why exactly? I personally don't have one, but from what I've read there's no difference in signal quality between a $5 one and a $80 one..
He's saying it is an asshole move to make HDMI cables cost more than $20... < is the less than sign, when put with $20 < HDMI cables, it means that $20 is LESS THAN the HDMI cables meaning the HDMI cables are more than $20.
HDMI cables shouldn't even cost more than $5, assuming that you don't need an ultra long one.
HDMI cables shouldn't even cost more than $5, assuming that you don't need an ultra long one.
I was assuming length was going into cost.
and always on activity lights that flash quickly for maximum distraction I'm getting close to swapping the power and HDD lights on my mini P180 because of this
I feel the same way about my HAF 932.... Except I like blue more than red and other colors.. But its so damn brighttt
I was assuming length was going into cost.
I can get an unbranded 3 meter braided one on eBay for $5. A cable of the same quality costs at least 10x the price in a retail outlet. They're just scams.
I can get an unbranded 3 meter braided one on eBay for $5. A cable of the same quality costs at least 10x the price in a retail outlet. They're just scams.
What I meant when I said length was going into cost is that I don't expect them to sell a 24ft cable for the same price as a 3 foot cable.
That keyboard layout makes me feel like I want to puke. [img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e0/KB_Sweden.svg/800px-KB_Sweden.svg.png[/img_thumb] Old Finnish/current Swedish layout is king.
It's still in use in Finland.
Disabling overclocking. I'm looking at you HP, Dell and Compaq :argh:
Modems with blinking lights Who the fuck thought about this? It's blinking at least twice a second when I'm downloading something :argh:
Modems with blinking lights Who the fuck thought about this? It's blinking at least twice a second when I'm downloading something :argh:
I don't understand, you want no activity signals?
Mounting heatsinks for AMD brackets. The horrible feeling of resistance when installing a CPU and closing the holder.
Push pins.
Websites that automatically refresh ads so they keep changing and then out of nowhere- "CLOROX STAIN-FIGHTER SPRAY WILL KEEP YOUR FAMILY PROTECTED FROM GERMS!" So I have to frantically scroll through my dozen tabs to find the source of the ad. Annoys the shit out of me.
That's why I use FlashBlock. Makes Flash turn on when you click on it. It's pretty much necessary for StumbleUpon.
Luckily on the Logitech G15, you can disable it.
I bought a G15 from a local computer store once. I had to return it because it was in Italian. :downs: [editline]11th March 2011[/editline]
Doesn't iTunes remind you to burn your library on to a CD?
Would it take that much more effort to have a database that said "So-and-so bought this, this, this, and this"? [editline]11th March 2011[/editline]
Also I hate that EVERYTHING has bright blue lights in it.
Agreed. I may like blue and all but there's no fucking reason to put LEDs on a device that are so bright you can see them from fucking SPACE. My PC case has LEDs like that, I finally just put sticky-tack over them.
That's why I use FlashBlock. Makes Flash turn on when you click on it. It's pretty much necessary for StumbleUpon.
Or... You could just use AdBlock if you use Chrome or FireFox. Then again that can block some stuff you wanna keep. Oh well.
I love flashblock <3 so much better battery life
Or... You could just use AdBlock if you use Chrome or FireFox. Then again that can block some stuff you wanna keep. Oh well.
I use both: can't live without them. :buddy:
Shiny, glossy backs/fronts on handheld devices.
Push pins.
FUCKL PUSHMPINS MY FUCKIHNG GHOD FUCK THEM GODDS FUCK JFKDAMNIT piece of DSHIT fucking uM CANT FUCKING GET THE SHIT CLOSED GODDAMNIT But seriously, I have never once convinced myself that a pushpin-seated heatsink was in properly. I always end up going out and buying a metal backplate one because I just feel like the fucking thing is going to pop out any second. Plus, it takes about an hour to get the fucking thing level.
Or... You could just use AdBlock if you use Chrome or FireFox. Then again that can block some stuff you wanna keep. Oh well.
Well Flashblock is nice for StumbleUpon and its insistence to throw a plethora of sites your way that automatically load bullshit.
Shiny, glossy backs/fronts on handheld devices.
I hate glossy anything. It's all nice and shiny until you touch it.
Websites for a program that has no screenshots. I've seen this so many times, I want to see what the program looks like so that I don't download a program with a shitty UI.
