Pepper;29600781']so its like an OS dedicated to something like virtualbox?
does it work with windows 7?
Sorta
What you do is you install ESX on a new machine, after doing so you go to another machine use Vsphere to manage ESX and make virutal machines and install OS's on it.
Yep, but in my experience it's VERY picky about non-enterprise grade hardware.
Never had a problem here with consumer grade things, hell I have ESXi 4.1 on a dell optiplex 780, and one box of just random hardware from newegg at home

I wish vsphere ran on linux though

Apparently it hates any spare computer sporting VT-d I own.
Even tried fiddling with the BIOS settings like a Catholic priest fiddling with altar boys.

Dumb question, but did you try with WINE?

1. I have only used it on AMD cpu's as I can get a more cores for cheaper
2. Yeah and it breaks as soon as a window goes over it

Consoles? Good god I wouldn't play MP on a PC, it's one of those games that just feels right to play on a PS2.

This is why I blocked CPALead.
Why are you using IE 8
Actually, I use Firefox 4. But the page was 'locked up' and thanks to Adblock I couldn't see the ad that was telling me I had to 'accept' an offer. So I tried it in IE so I could see what the problem was. :v:
Now that I'm thinking about it, I could've done it in a VM and see what would happen...
More common in Fords?
We're a Ford family, my mom has a Ford Explorer from 2008, dad has a heritage edition F-150 from 2006 or so (don't remember the year at all, this is just a guess), and my brother drives my mom's old Freestar from the year they were brand spankin' new.
Before that, dad had a little green Ford Ranger thing and mom had a gold Windstar. Though the Ranger's transmission died after... Like, 5 years of having it and I forgot what happened to the Windstar.
Never heard of mom, dad, or my brother having any gasket issues with that.
Guess we're lucky.

And we are contemplating getting a new Transit Connect to replace the Explorer so I can have it :buddy:

Except I have to pay for that and I'm not spending anything for something as trivial as my problem. I already found a workaround, and if I really, absolutely needed a .ico file I would probably use GIMP as has been suggested earlier.
Otherwise I'd probably have used that.

Not sure if serious...

I'm wondering if it would have been better to have the characters switched. It would make regular english easier, but then you'd have another character you need to use shift on in programming.
Or you could be a cool guy like me and use a custom keyboard :c00lbert:
Much better to have the characters shifted.
On that note, why bother with numeric keys at the top on a keyboard with a numpad?
My dads got a Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor! :buddy:
Depends if he bought it brand new or used... If used, it's a piece of shit. I know a lot of people buy them used because they are cheap and or they think they are cool. However, they don't realize that cops abuse the shit out of their cars, so they have like 50 years worth of wear and tear on them from 5 years of use.
Much better to have the characters shifted.

at this point, because they send different things.
I can't use the numpad in Quake 3, but I can use the number row fine.

you're implying console games have a quicksave feature
Push start, press A on save, wow that was quick.
Much better to have the characters shifted.

Because not everyone has a numpad (I feel sorry for them), and it's much less annoying to type in something like "I have 3 chickens!" with the top row, when it's not drawn out. I generally never use the numpad unless I'm typing in something longer than 3 digits, and partly because it's always a gamble if num lock is on or off.
Fucking hell, I can't say how many times I've lost all my progress in some text on a webpage, because my last computer's keyboard had refresh bound to num6 :argh:

In my opinion it's more of the Chrome of media players, with winamp/foobar being the Firefox. But that's just me.
