The one thing I hate about the 3DS is the gloss finish on 90% of it's casing
oh god the fingerprints
Hey man I'm loving the new speakers/tv/anything with a glossed finish and as black as it can get, mind if I take a look? Yes? It's ok man I'll just be a second. Whoops, I left a fingerprint, let me wipe it off with the side of my hand. Whoops, sorry I spread it around, I'll just use my shirt. Damn man sorry I scratched the FUCK out of your brand new, expensive and snazzy looking equipment, cya

I wonder if places that stop selling shit that gets greased up would make more money from the fact the casings aren't useless pieces of shit when it comes to staying clean
I love the fact that my netbook's and desktop's plastic monitor screen thingymajiggers are completely matte.
No fingerprints here!

They have to find something that makes fingerprints on glossy plastic/glass impossible.
My friend's iPod Touch had a thick layer of fingerprints on it, the screen was nearly opaque :byodood:

There is witchcraft involved

Helps if I try to avoid touching the screen in the first place. But even if I do it doesn't leave a thing.

Matte screens have lower color depth and are usually less sharp!*

Because I fucking hate gloss screens.
Matte screens have lower color depth and are usually less sharp!*
How can they be more or less sharp than the other? Just because its glossy doesn't make it look sharper. The pixels are still square.

Matte displays diffuse light as it passes through or reflects. That's why reflections appear bright and sharp on a glossy display, while the effect reflections have is minimized on a matte display.
By their very nature, matte less are less sharp than glossy displays.
Oh god, that wouldnt've been a Madcatz controller would it?
I had two Madcatz controllers, one a smoky clear plastic, and the other plain gray
The clear one's joystick got fucked though, only wants to go one direction
wouldnt've ??? Really? Sorry to nit pick here, but even if you used the correct apostrophes it would still be what?
wouldn't've? Can't you just type out the extra key stroke?

Wow
In all honesty I didn't know it was typed like that
I'm sorry Mr. Squad, please don't give me an F
P.S. I've seen several people say/type that as if it was an actual word
Then again I'm from Ohio so what the fuck do I know

This is correct,
I said it wrong, they have the same sharpness but the matte screen appears less sharp.
Go to a TV store and compare a Philips(Matte) tv to a Samsung(Glossy), its a compleetly different type.

I've always spelled it wouldnt've

actually none of them are correct and we're all wrong, using two contractions isn't allowed in writing.

The English language has a habit of breaking it's own rules, so I say fuck it.

Hmm, I'll check that out then. I've never really noticed a huge difference in apparent sharpness and such. Glossy screens tend to have nicer colors though (except for my laptop, but that's probably because its 4.5 years old). Either that or higher quality displays just so happen to be glossy.
I heard CRT's still have the best colours...

The fact that most apple product cables, from chargers to mice don't have the usual set up to prevent wear and tear at the ends.

I mean seriously, how hard can it be to put those little extra things on the end:

Because as useful as they are it would look 'unsightly' to Apple and as such they wouldn't want it :sigh:
[editline]21st May 2011[/editline]
P.S Even though I'm posting from a Mac I agree with you. I've gone through a £60 magsafe charger just for that exact reason that the wire frayed at the connection to the plug.

It's for a shuffle, it makes sense. Adding the USB mini B would probably have made it larger, so why not just add the power to the headphone port?

He's referring to the plastic thing at the end of the wire that prevents the wire from getting fucked up.

I agree. I have yet to sat can match the cee a LCD or LED LCD (Even the newest Samsung D series) the colors of a good crt or plasma.
LCD tv's always seem to have unatural colors and especially skin colors never seem real.
Oled screens will give you the colors of a crt

My point was that two contractions was wrong. That is why I said even if you used the correct apostrophes it would still be.... what? as in what the fuck? Anyways. It isn't a big deal it is just weird. Soon enough we won't even use spaces in our words and just take out all of the vowels.
