I'm also building a new PC, and for some reason all my friends (mac users) can't get off my back for buying an ATI card, saying i'm missing out on 3d gaming , if i bought the 3d goggles and the screen with it. and that's $1000 for a useless luxury.

PhysX is BS, i made the switch and didn't notice anything.

I have the exact same GPU in my main PC.

I can max my source games at 1400x1050, and I can play Just Cause 2 at 1400x1050, with about mid-high settings and no AA and AF.

It's roughly 5-10FPS behind the 4760 in everything.
