So lets say I buy a server box with 2 3.2GHz xeons and 16Gb RAM. Would my 35Mbps down/5Mbps up broadband connection be sufficient enough to host, say, a tiny website and 2 small minecraft servers? IE works so much better with a touchscreen than Chrome on Win8, it's rather sad.
On the thin PC's at my collage you can "safely remove" the NIC and then the matchine stops working...
If I safely remove the graphics card, the screen goes black and comes back just fine. When I plug it in again, it just works fine again. It's quite surprising.
I tried.
YOU FORGOT GOULASH AND SPAS AND STUFF Oh, and here's my map. [t]http://i.imgur.com/avgnDze.jpg[/t]
Your upload speed really limits it. 100 people accessing your website would probably slow your connection to a crawl, and you could probably host one 15 player minecraft server, but not a minecraft server and website at the same time.
YOU FORGOT GOULASH AND SPAS AND STUFF Oh, and here's my map. [t]http://i.imgur.com/avgnDze.jpg[/t]
Very nice to see some northern hungarians here. [editline]11th March 2013[/editline] btw the spas are near the germans they live in symbiosis.
Fuck. My psu fucked up, prompting some fiddling with the pc to try and get it running. Now its stuck on attempting repairs Shit. Might be time to look up a replacement. Any nordic people know of some decent ones in Komplett, webhallen or similar?

Accurate. My train was cancelled this morning due to a bomb scare.
After updating my graphics card drivers and installing 69 windows updates - my keyboard and mouse decide to randomly disconnect every 10-15mins for 5 seconds :suicide:
So my new mobo (ASRock) just arrived. The box didn't have a seal sticker nor did the ESD bag the mobo was in. Is that normal? Really seems sketchy and pisses me off either way.
