And that $25 filled his little Cavalier's tank.
$25 in my tank probably won't get me near a half a tank.
I put $20 in and the gauge went from about 1/8 full to around half full. I live in the city, so it isn't too bad.

I'm curious how everyone tags their Steam friends, because I noticed a lot of screenshots show the friends being tagged based on how "close" the friendship is, and meanwhile I just tag based on where I know them from.
I generally tag my FL based off which community they are from. There are people I know specifically through Facepunch, video games, RL, other forums I visit, Youtube friends, Twitter, my job, etc.
Makes it easier for me.
I don't organise my steam friends at all
I'd say you're living in the future when you realize that this:
[t]http://i.imgur.com/k60UgW6.jpg[/t]
holds 30 - 40 photos, yet this:

holds literally tens of thousands, that can easily be manipulated, corrected, stored and backed up while being something like a 50th of the size.
That's how I know we're living in the future.
That's somewhat of an unfair comparison. Sure you can hold a total amount of images, but the quality of that few analog film images has more to it than volume.
If volume of media was the concern cellphones would be the best movie making device.

You're going to summon the vinyl thread regulars and then we're all going to have a really shitty time

Even if you shot RAW you'd still be able to hold a couple thousand photos, which for most purposes would be equal to film (?). And for most purposes, even large JPEGs are enough.

I'm talking from perspective of devices that can product the same, if not better quality images as those that good film cameras can, not just phones.
I wasn't aware you could tag friends on Steam
Fine, I'll bite

they're all badly organized though. If only I could drag and drop or something.
just decided to purge my steam friends, most of these people i added ages ago and haven't talked to them in forever
was too lazy to do it before but this discussion spurred me to do it

Wait? Produce better quality images than film?
Haha what?
Digital and film has their own unique ups and downs. It's not fair to say one is exclusively better than the other either.
Film has higher resolution and dynamic range. That's still basically fact. Doesn't mean I prefer it over digital though.
Yes but digital has much finer grains at higher iso and is much more economical in the long run. Although I don't disagree with you, but i'd stick with digital as editing the raw files can usually produce good results either way
I'm trying to update my brother's Galaxy Xcover with Kies
The "no internal organs" complaint is valid when you're talking about, say, Soul Calibur because it is (ostensibly) realistic, but some guy's stylized doodle isn't really fair game for this.
tl;dr he's obviously not trying to be realistic. His art is stylized and cartoony.
Finer grain? That's not always a good thing. Problem with Digital Noise is it looks like digital noise. But that's besides my point. I wasn't debating digital being more convenient or cheaper, just it doesn't surpass film's visual fidelity yet, particularly photography, movie recording is another ball game.
What does my cat think about this conversation?

The best format for both audio and image/video is probably "in person".
Unless the band has an equipment problem or the image/video is porn stars 70 years later.
