When you do, please post pics. I'm always in the mood for pics of space.
Pity there's so much light pollution over here that you can't see anything dimmer than Arcturus.
Yeah, it's not very good where I live. Can see the moon and sometimes stars. I'll need to take it out to my grandparents one time, they don't live that far out of town, but enough to avoid the light pollution.

wtf. none of my puush links are working, its makes me download the image
[editline]8th March 2013[/editline]
fuck you im tired
I'm completely ignorant about image hosting software, but it would be a piece of piss to write your own and make a nice front end.
I wouldn't do it on a commercial host, though. Not for a group of people, at least.
[editline]8th March 2013[/editline]
By the way, that reminds me, one of the things I want to do with the host is for "Premium" members (Or whatever the fuck we'd call it, think the same as gold) is set up an unlimited image host. Unlimited within reason, I mean. (Like, no ludicrously high res images, stuff the crashes browsers, file limit of... something, idk, 10MB?)
[editline]8th March 2013[/editline]
There's a bunch of things like this I want to do with the site.
What the fuck?
Somehow I was able to ix my laptop's subwoofer (which has been silent for months now) by tweaking a few options in the Control Panel while playing Dragonforce. What the hell ass balls?
Component cables and GSModeSelector make SO MUCH of a difference with my PS2. Games look gorgeous now.
Ordered a 3750k + mobo + ram. Let's hope the stuff about Haswell being "eh" is right so it justifies my purchase

Dammit, you made me go look for component cables for my Gamecube.
The *cheap* eBay ones are $75. Amazon has some for $150-200. I even found some running over $400.
THE CONSOLE WASN'T EVEN $400 WHEN I BOUGHT IT!
Let's hope the stuff about Haswell being "eh"
Where did you even get this idea from?

Seriously, I could buy a Wii with HD cables for less than that. Only downside is that I couldn't use the Game Boy Player with a Wii. But I think I could probably get a DS as well and still be under $400, so this whole situation is patently ridiculous.
Hey guys,
I know this isn't exactly sipwicket material, but I can't help it. If you know someone that's struggling with substance abuse, do everything you can to help them. You never know when a life can be cut short.

In other news, apparently the PS4 will support PhysX, despite not having an Nvidia chip in it.
Bet Sony paid them quite a bit of money to do that. One can only hope AMD card support will make its way to the PC.

Come on, you know that it won't happen.
Come on, you know that it won't happen.
Hence "one can only hope". Probably won't happen, unless some anti-trust suit gets filed or AMD throws a bunch of money at them, or Nvidia decides making hardware is for suckers and becomes a middleware company, but still not completely impossible.

Oops.
wow
just fucking wow
the bloody cat just ruined my 6870 and possibly my entire PC
he decided to run by at mach fucking 3 and yanked the HDMI cord out sideways, breaking the connector
now I can't get the 6870 working at all and I can't get the 6570 I have working either
[editline]7th March 2013[/editline]
its just always something, isn't it?
I'm glad I don't have a cat.
[editline]7th March 2013[/editline]
Or any pets, for that matter.

Seems like it's because Nintendo only sold a few, they're only for a specific model of console, and third parties didn't really care about it.
If you can find a gamecube A/V connector that has all the pins, you could probably solder one together for a fraction of that.

or not :v: sorry dude
well
I bent a couple of the HDMI pins back in place
it works
for now
Still fucking pissed though

No, actually, I can't. The Gamecube had two A/V connectors - one analog (composite, s-video, SCART) and one digital (component, D-terminal). The digital port was removed after the first console revision, and the only cables for it are impossible to find.
