I hate being a blue member, I always feel like the odd one out, but I don't think it's worth the money to become gold :( I just can't win.

Why'd it have to be during my birthday/spring break, I've been out getting live with the homies and you're all in here having discussions about stuff that I'd be too late to join in on. Ezhik gets next thread though after Tailor relentlessly and viciously stole it from a tiny innocent hedgehog person thing.

I didn't get gold until 2 weeks ago (thanks again rhx, RC is fucking hilarious) and I didn't feel like I needed it. It's honestly just kind of a status symbol with silly perks that should be open to blue members anyways.
Only real reason to get gold to me would be the ability to change avatar without loosing size (mostly to put a Santa hat on for christmas) and to be able to search for stuff. And i'v only needed the latter about twice a year

120hz vs 60hz makes no difference to the fps being rendered. Unless he's talking about what he sees. Maybe he was getting 100-120fps and now sees them fully on a 120hz.
Otherwise it's possible he went from a big monitor to a low res monitor.
