So you'd drive a car with a v8 engine even if the entire exterior was rusted?
Two problems with your post: 1. A whole lot more people are going to see your car than your computer. 2. Cars have speed limits. Therefore, excessive performance capabilities don't mean very much. Computers don't have speed limits, and as most of us play games, all of the performance we pay for gets put to use.
Yes i would, but you can't really compare those two because you don't really go around showing your computer case.
This.

I wish I could get a custom one but they don't do just cases. :(
Flashing lights? No thanks.
No HTPC cases? HTPC cases have the sexiest features, I'd love to have a Thermaltake DH101 with my home theater setup.

Obviously someone who buys prebuilts wouldn't give a fuck, but none of them should even be in this thread.
I'm rocking the Cooler Master Stacker 830 Evolution http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119122 Things a fucking tank. The case weights 43 pounds.

The case weights 43 pounds.
I have this case, it has a few problems. The case is all open air, every side of it has a mesh opening, even the bottom. bringing it to LAN parties often poses some risks, soda can drop into the top, this has happened to me once. The case is not wire management friendly at all, and took me a while to get all my wires out of the way. The top fan is a bitch to clean, so I ended up blocking the top vent completely and putting the top fan on the bottom to blow air from under the case up into the GPU. (Dropped 10C in games) The case is cumbersome to move around a lot, the wheels while nice wear out fast, and could be larger. The top vent prevents the case from being used as a chair, the top of the case is not flat so it's hard to place objects on top of it. and the aluminum scratches easy.

Not near as heavy. Who the fuck uses their case as a chair or a table? I do agree about wire management though. It wasn't too bad, but it was definitely not the best in that field. Luckily I don't have to do that too often.
I'm really fond of this Raidmax case in both form and functionality. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156078
