Project Spark has potential but it's sad to see the F2P elements.
What does the title mean? It's annoyed me for months. :v:

I thought it was a really obvious bad attempt at being witty, but there you have it.
What? Is it actually named that?
I don't think I'll be making any more attempts at comedy on this webzone.
I really want to play Project Spark but it's one of the apps which force closes once opened.
I'm going to give it away soon so if you want in quote my last post. [editline]11th January 2014[/editline] LordCrypto - 1 Juniez - 2 Agent Fedora - 3 Cryomundus - 4 anthonywolfe - 5 Turnip -6 #2 was the winner from Random.org congrats I'll PM you with the key.
No need, I've got a key, just can't play it due to the issue above.
Still having wireless issues here on the home front, thinking about downgrading to Windows 7 and just throwing my copy of 8.1 onto my laptop (Apparently, wifi works fine on Macbooks). Anybody know the best way to go about that? I'd like to sort of preserve my files and programs, but I'm not sure how I could do that without just redownloading them. I'll probably be picking up a 1TB hybrid drive before I downgrade, so I can get the same sort of speed I do currently. Any advice?
Anyone know of the issue when your computer goes to sleep and when you try to revoke sleep mode it just doesn't do so, requiring you to restart? This is pretty annoying and it's never happened to me on Windows 7.
Anyone know of any good programs to get aero back to Windows 8.1? I found one but I had to donate otherwise it would bring a pop-up message every day and it was really annoying. [editline]19th January 2014[/editline] Oh and also is it possible to add a background of my choice to this screen where all of the grey bullshit is? I'm sick of it just being lame and monotone: [IMG_thumb]http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k55/lew-m-b06/Jan192014205012_zps41e2bb1b.png[/IMG_thumb]
I accidentally changed my Windows Product ID through the registry and I didn't put it back to it's original value. Am I fucked? It's not the product key, just the product ID.
If its what i think it is, maybe Microsoft toolkit could fix http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/28669-Microsoft-Toolkit-Official-KMS-Solution-for-Microsoft-Products

For me when it happens (exact same symptom in Win7 and 8 actually), the computer is actually running (num lock works, etc), the display just never activates. I had something to do with the AMD drivers. Not exactly a fix, but at least you would know what's causing it.
That's the only one there is.
Which one is that? I'd be interested.

Seriously? You can't post pone any update(s)? (Obv you can disable updates, duh)
Actually, it does. Your friend is just stupid.
It works kinda different - after three days of consecutive non-updating, the update will be installed automatically (if downloaded) when you shut down. I think it's a bit more advanced than that, but really you're getting a pretty fair warning. After a long period of warnings it will sometimes tell you to save your shit and let it update, but your friend must've acted pretty foolishly if he wasn't able to avoid that.
So apparently in 8.1.1 you'll be able to pin metro apps to the taskbar:
Source?
This isn't the source of that image but it does have that feature shown and more: http://wzor.net/12774.html Like a context menu (finally) for the start screen: Oh and this well placed power button:
I hope they will let us add Add/Delete Programs to the start screen.
Typical MS, doing a brave thing after 20 years of same crap, then spending the next 4 OS versions backtracking on it.
